"Very comfortable well appointed house in an excellent location. The proximity of the AT and hikes we could walk to was greatly appreciated. The deck was wonderful…we utilized the gas fire pit every night. The trees blocked our view of mountains but we enjoyed listening to music and watching the squirrels. "

"This cabin was perfect for an extended family vacation. The location is remote enough to enjoy some quiet time and enjoy the surroundings, but close enough to venture out for hiking, fishing, and beer/wine tasting. The bedrooms are well situated so we weren't on top of each other. The covered porch and rocking chairs were the best part of the house! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Travelers' Rest but I think the listing should mention that the upstairs bedroom is a loft and open to the LR (which did not work with an early rising infant). Also, and I should know by now, the photos make the living area look bigger than it is. That said, it is wonderfully situated at end of cul de sac but close to lodge and market. The view is spectacular and it is very well equipped."
