This is a great place to stay for a nights sleep. The beds are comfortsble. The neighbor is nice and very quite. There is a nice garden tub in the master bedroom. The house is a little older than showing in the pictures. The garage is not accessible as noted itis. There is no can opener or any dishes to use for baking..

WHAT A MISTAKE!

We had to come to Houston a day early so we booked this VRBO for 1 night. We cannot stress how disappointed we were with this home. The home was tidy, but really in need of a deep cleaning. It is in need of updates, in both bathrooms which had black showing through the caulk. The bathroom rugs had clearly not been washed in ages. We chose to sleep on top of the bedding because we feared bed bugs. I suggest the owners fix, deep clean and repaint the home in an off white plus paint all woodwork.

Great Stay for baseball

This property was a perfect place for my family. The house was a good size for me, my wife, and 2 sons(14) (12). The house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We stayed for 5 nights and slept comfortably every night. There is a train that passes at night, it is close enough to hear, but not so loud it should really bother anyone. We were in town for a youth baseball tournament. This location was about 45 min to an hour from Hobby Airport / Downtown Houston. There are many places to eat in the area by driving a few minutes. My wife and I enjoy going for walks in the early morning (6 to 7am) and we were able to walk the neighborhood and say "hi" to many of the people in the neighborhood. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Stay!

Stay was excellent. Only issues was the coffee pot wouldnā€™t work, but a spare was located on site and worked fine. Remote to Roku tv was missing but a new one was dropped off in a very timely manner. Great weekend all around!

The area was quite calm the possibly issue I had with the general stay was the point at which we arrived it was an entertaining smell it had pet hair on the furniture the dishes were filthy it was extremely dusty and the sheet material wasn't spotless likewise there was no dish towels there to wash the dishes and there was no pots or container actually except for the director of the property was extremely sweet it wasn't any little towels yet I got some anyway for the region and the spot of the area was extraordinary a decent move away from home

Christmas 2023

We were traveling from Chicago to Texas for Christmas. 24 hours before we check in he gave us all the information we needed to get in. He even put another tv in the master bedroom. The house was clean. One of things I suggest, if you have guest staying during Christmas is to decorate. Thankfully we drove from Chicago so we were able to bring a tree with us. The lock to get in the home was funky and we were never able to use it. If you're looking for luxury home this would not be for you. It's an older home but it worked just fine for us. Thank you!!

Worst stay Iā€™ve ever had

My family and I rented this home, not thinking it would be fancy, but just a place to lay our head at night. Turns out it wasnā€™t either. First of all, we were given no instructions on using the electronic lock to enter the home which was incredibly finicky. We finally enter to find a very dingy, grimy home. The kitchen had a horrible smell; the bedsheets were horrendous. All of the furnishings felt like they might disintegrate upon use. We received only 2 rolls of toilet paper (mind you we are 6 people there for several days). The most irritating part was that at first glance there were no towels at all. Upon further investigation we realize there are towels, but they are all sopping wet hanging in a bedroom closet. Apparently we were required to dry them ourselves. I think after this experience I will swear off VRBO entirely. It was completely unacceptable.

Maintenance Required

The house is modest and, on the surface, clean. The 1970s linen and coffee pot needs an upgrade. The coffee pot takes an hour to make coffee. Someone has control of the AC online. It is Houston, TX, and you all need control of AC. The neighborā€™s yard has a camera facing the front door, plus the neighbor lady was very intrusive, almost like spying. By the way, bring your toilet paper because they limit three rolls. Their soap dispenser fell off the wall, and I was charged half the repair. I can guarantee it will fall again. You might be the next maintenance contributor.

We had to ask the host to turn down the a/c everyday from the set 86*. The neighbor was sitting on the front porch, watering the lawn for the owners who had just watered it the day before, while we were there. This stay felt very intrusive.

Great north Houston Location

Location: -quiet neighborhood -close to 6 flags waterpark (20 min) -about 1 hour from Hobby depending on traffic -about 1 hour from NASA depending on traffic House: -AC works great, rooms have ceiling fans -thermostat somewhat cumbersome to use -nice big screen tv (wasn't able to screenshare to view photos) -Beds are comfortable including spare beds for extra guests -VERY quiet! -Large garage space -Large dining table -fenced backyard -large jacuzzi tub in master bath -kitchen sparsely supplied -new oven/range and refrigerator -washer and dryer worked good -grocery stores are close by Great place to stay and great value. Nice owners who are easy to work with.
