Relaxing, Cozy Cottage on the Lake - 2 Guest Maximum

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place for you. This cozy home is 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms with breathtaking views of the main channel on Lake Catherine. Open floor plan has grand views from the kitchen and living areas. The large back deck allows you to enjoy the abundant nature this quiet home has to offer and is a bird watcher’s paradise. The deck is equipped with patio furniture, table and charcoal grill.
This property has swimming, fishing and boating on the calm waters of Lake Catherine. There is a 36' x 6' pier with boat bumpers, tie up hooks and a swim ladder. Relax on our attached 26' x 12' floating dock with Adirondack chairs and Umbrella. So bring your boat and water toys.
The first bedroom has a king size bed with half bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with window looking out at the lake. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted flat screen TVs, ceiling fans and USB charging stations. The living areas are furnished with comfortable seating and a large 50-inch TV. All TVs are equipped with Roku, Hulu, 70 channels of live TV including all major networks and ESPN channels plus a movie library. The Home is equipped with high speed WIFI Internet.
Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator/ water and ice dispenser, microwave, stove / oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and blender and is fully stocked with dishes, cook wear and utensils. We have an outdoor, gas grill on the patio so you can cook while enjoying the view of the lake. You can come for a vacation and never leave this property!
Want to see the sights, we are just 15 minutes to just about anywhere in Hot Springs, Historic Downtown Hot Springs National Park, South Central Avenue Business and Restaurant Areas or Beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens.
THIS HOME IS LIMITED TO 2 GUEST AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN, but is perfect for a couple to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. Parties, Events or gathering of any kind is NOT permitted.
WINTER LAKE DRAW DOWN, From November 1 through March 10th, Lake management typically lowers Lake Catherine and Lake Hamilton from 3-5 feet. This will expose the lake bed in shallow areas around the property and the dock will have little water below it if any.
The Property has 2 exterior security cameras mounted on the eave by the garage. The camera's coverage is the front of the house and driveway.

Great cottage with everything we needed. Property is on the river with great views and a relaxing dock. Had a great time. I found the neighborhood streets back to the cottage a bit tricky, but no problem if using a navigation app.

Wonderful stay

Quiet and Peaceful
My husband and I are getting ready to relocate and decided to take a quick vacation. The little lake house is incredible. We sat outside and watched ducks land in the water and enjoyed the peace and quiet. There is even a cottage kitty that will greet you! Highly recommend to anyone!!

Great location, river view and access. Spent lots of time in Adirondack chairs down by river. Only a short 10 minute drive to bathhouse row. Very clean and had everything we needed including a gas grill on patio.

Perfect Getaway!
One of our favorite places we've stayed. It was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting by the lake relaxing and visiting the area. The location was terrific and the house was great. PERFECTION! That sums it up. The property is immaculately kept and spotlessly clean. Easy access down to the lake, lots of trees and shade. Quiet because not on the main body of Lake Catherine. The patio/deck is very large, plenty of room to entertain or just relax. Inside there is room for everyone to chill in 2 open sitting areas with large windows to enjoy the view. The owners have provisioned pretty much anything you will need in the large kitchen. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice. And if watching birds and squirrels in the trees and fish jumping in the lake are not enough nature for you, there are a couple of cottage kitties for you to interact with. Owners are very responsive and left helpful info for guests. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful Relaxing - Perfection
Words can’t express how this vacation home exceeded our expectation in all areas! My husband and I do not have many getaways just the two of us, so we sought out a place with quiet seclusion…. And we received just that! We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful vacation home and location with all the amenities to give us the relaxation we were seeking. You can tell the owners love their home and protect it by keeping it spotless and attention to detail with beautiful flowers and yard to add to the ambiance. The view to Lake Catherine is stunning and peaceful and an added touch with bird feeders all round the property which creates a nature lovers dream. The home itself has all you need for comfort … nothing was left out to help ensure the stay was worry free. We absolutely look forward to making this a constant on our vacation spots.

Don’t look any further
This place is perfect. It was cleaner than a hospital for starters. The host communication was impeccable. The setting is perfect. The views, if you wanted a serene location, are excellent. The floating dock was great and the porch was perfect to sit and relax. 5 stars aren’t enough but it’ll have to do. One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in. And everything is at most 20 mins away. Thanks for the hospitality!
