A wonderful stay
We enjoyed our stay, the decorating was so atmospheric & we enjoyed the deck & amazing view. The hosts were super responsive when I had questions. The only thing that was a surprise is that the owners live in super close proximity. The listing said nothing of it. If you are super private, you may not like that. But hosts were super quiet & never really saw them outside. It all worked out fine. Beds were super comfy, & the sounds of wildlife were awesome!

Amazing Views! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beautiful, cozy little home with spectacular views from the deck! Home is clean, comfortable, and AC kept up with 100 degree days! Abundant wildlife with deer coming right through the yard, rabbits, chipmunks, etc. Witnessed the Milky Way Edge-On during a clear moonless night which was something I’d never thought I’d see. Simply amazing! Short drive to Custer State Park where we got to experience watching the buffalo herd cross the road from one pasture to another. Highly recommend!

Cozy with a beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay. The sunsets are amazing! Location is a bit off beaten path but it’s well worth it and things are only a 15 minute drive away. Recommended for families! Kids loved it.

Great Experience for our first time using a VRBO
We really enjoyed the cabin and the area. This was our first time using a VRBO and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out. We we're traveling with our 3 big dogs and the space worked out well for them each to have their the own area to stretch out - the view was great - and the proximity to the local parks and trails was awesome.

This was a great spot to stay out of town, and the owners are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Location
Great views, great location. Plenty of things nearby like Cascade Falls, the Mammoth Site, Wind Cave national Park. Other things nearby that we didn't take advantage of this trip are Custer State Park, Shep's Canyon, and Evan's Plunge.

Problem on arrival
Beautiful location, owner onsite, and very helpful. We experienced an inconvenient problem on arrival. A plumbing problem prevented us from staying the first night. The owner was VERY responsive and resolved the problem quickly. The rest of the visit was problem free.

Great vacation
We (a party of four) have been for four weeks in August 2021. Everything is as described on the internet site. The WiFi internet connection really worked and we could connect our laptop computer and talk using Skype. The property is well designed, very clean and well maintained. There are three bedrooms. The two full-bathrooms have toilet/bathtub with shower/sink. There is also a washer/dryer. The living area and the terrace are excellent to work and relax. There is a functional kitchen (stove, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer, dishes/cooking utensils, etc.). The owners made significant efforts to transform our vacation into a wonderful experience. We hope to come back again.

Spectacular Views
We stayed here in early July and the place was just amazing! We arrived just in time to watch a thunderstorm roll in and it was quite the show. Along with the spectacular views, Ginger was also a great host and quick to respond to any questions we had. The house had everything we needed and our kids loved walking down to feed the friendly horse, Chief. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The cabin was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated and fully stocked with almost everything you might need. Host family was very friendly and helpful. Being able to bring our dogs was a big plus! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here.

Black Hills Respite
We had such a great long weekend at Peter and Ginger's place with our family comprised of 7 adults and 3 dogs. We relaxed on their decks, enjoyed the view from the macrame swings and hammocks, visited local spots (some of their recommendations), hiked Black Elk Peak, hiked other trails in Custer State Park, and enjoyed our visit to Wind Cave National Park. We loved using the fully stocked kitchen for our morning and evening meals. This place was out in open space, but convenient for our day trips.

So Serene and Peaceful!
Four adults + three dogs had a wonderful time at this property. We didn’t realize it was the same week as the Sturgis bike rally but still managed to get out and see the sites around us - Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, etc... The view out the back deck is amazing and we spent many nights out there, first watching the beautiful sunsets and then staying up late for the star gazing. It was very comfortable and we made every meal in the house. The kitchen was well equipped and overall a very relaxing week.

Great place to stay!
We flew in to Rapid City and came down to Hot Springs to stay. We enjoyed this little town and the drive to the main attractions. We would definitely stay here again on in the area!
