"The moment we opened the door, we were elated to see such a beautiful place to stay in with gorgeous views. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing! We enjoyed seeing the gang of elk and the gaggle of turkeys that visited us each morning and evening as well as greeting us on the road up the mountain. The hosts have provided everything you need for cooking at home with a variety of extras, and the home was very clean throughout. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and had a great time...

"We stayed there with my mom, sister and sun-laws for my daughter’s graduating from BSU. The house was perfect and a great size for all of us. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. It is about a 20 min drive (traffic) to downtown which we didn’t mind. "

"What a great house to stay at. My son loved running around the backyard and it was in such a great location. Close to a grocery store and restaurants as well as places to go for my son (children’s museum and Scheel’s). Highly recommend. "

"It's in a lovely location, and the directions to find it were perfect (follow them). We loved the morning walks in the neighborhood and the quiet. We know we were warned it was a rustic cabin, but the bugs were annoying (even though the bug company was just there), and one mattress should be replaced. According to a log cabin builder, the exterior needs to be sealed again to prevent the bugs. "

"We were looking for a place with a nice backyard, a large table, and a well-equipped kitchen to celebrate Thanksgiving with family in Boise. This place was perfect! Would stay there again. Only downside was a few dead bugs behind the couches in the living room, and we needed to re-wash most of the dishes before using. "

"All the great reviews are accurate. The property is excellent and the communication with Amanda is the best I have ever experienced. The other guests loved the house and especially enjoyed the backyard and pool. They kept telling me how perfect the house was. Could not have gone better."

"Oh my gosh, two thumbs up! What a lovely hotel, what lovely staff and what a lovely experience. The breakfast is fantastic with made to order eggs. I wish all hotels operated at this level - I will most definitely stay here, again! "
