Pecan Creek Lakehouse is more than just a vacation rental.. This home was a family endeavor in 2015 when children who were an architect, luxury home builder and aspiring designer came together to create a legacy lakehouse for families to share. We are happy with how our Texas Farmhouse came to life and we are thrilled to share it with YOU!

We are located next-door to the Horseshoe Bay Resort with golf amenities, additional accommodations, wine tastings, lake activities and charming shops in Marble Falls. Our Texas farmhouse offers 4000 SF of space for your group to spread out with 2 primary bedrooms with ensuite baths & King beds, 1 King guest room, a great room with wood-burning fireplace, chef’s kitchen and laundry room on the first floor. The second floor features 2 bunk-rooms for the kids and a playroom for movie watching with a Queen Murphy Bed and Queen pull out sectional. The house sleeps a whopping 22 comfortably in beds with high-end mattress and luxury bedding!

Our chef's kitchen will make any private chef or caterer happy as a clam with a giant serving island and commercial appliances. Our large wood-burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs are perfect for any night of the year, and our double stacking LG Wash Towers can handle large groups. We have board games, luxury linens & towels, high-end kitchenware and original art throughout. We’ve thought of every detail in this Texas farmhouse-chic inspired design with furnishings throughout from Pottery Barn, Arhaus and William Sonoma.

The sunsets are majestic and the Texas stars, fireflies and the owls in the trees will transport you to a peaceful place written in old western stories.

Great Lake House
Perfect place to enjoy time with family and friends. House has tons of space for large groups, and is well equipped. Has large backyard for outdoor games, and calm canal great for lounging in the water. Hosts are super friendly and very helpful.

ranquil Lakeside Retreat Perfect for Family Getaway
Our recent stay at Pecan Creek was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene beauty of the surroundings and the warmth of the welcoming front porch. One of the highlights of our trip was the ample opportunities for outdoor fun. The lake provided endless entertainment, whether we were fishing, boating, or simply soaking in the stunning views. Our kids were in their element, and we cherished the quality time spent together as a family. Nature lovers will be delighted by the abundant wildlife, as we were fortunate enough to spot numerous deer during our stay. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit and enjoying smores and night time fishing of course! As for the accommodations themselves, we found the house to be impeccably clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The layout was spacious and versatile, perfectly suited for both intimate family gatherings and larger groups of friends. Overall, our stay at this lakeside retreat exceeded all expectations.

Excellent Property for a Large Family with Lake Access.
The owner's of this property had excellent communication, were easy to reach and lovely to work with. The property worked great for 15 of us. We had a 23' wake boat that we docked overnight along the bulk head. The creek is as shallow as 2.5' but we were able to navigate it slowly headed out to the lake. The house was very clean and was a perfect family reunion. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful place to stay, very spacious
The house was better than expected (pictures don't do the space justice). I loved the huge open downstairs, large kitchen island, large pantry, huge fridge/freezer. My family of 16 had zero complaints about space which is saying a lot. If you bring a boat to the house, keep the motor (trim) up high because the water is low in the canal (my kids could stand in some places) but the kids had a great time playing and swimming in the canal too. We used the grill, the coffee maker, the wine cooler, all with no issues. FYI, the on/off switch for the wine cooler is under the sink on the island. The kids loved the kayaks too. They are all one-seaters and two of them are only 130 lbs max. The other two were suitable for adults though. There were fishing poles too but bring your own hooks and bait if you want to use them.

The house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen well equipped. Also available we’re kayak’s, tubes, and fishing rods which we had a lot of fun with. We spent our evenings creekside and the kids were really thrilled with all the fish they caught. A wonderful family gathering.

This property is everything described in the listing and more! It may have been the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. So incredible spacious. Perfect for large group and lots of little ones! Huge, well-equipped kitchen, massive island, amazing covered patio with double grills, and the backyard…absolutely stunning. We spent a lot of time soaking up sun and fresh air on the dock. Even caught a fish! The beds and linens were so comfortable! Great location…feels so secluded but only minutes away from cvs, H-E-B, boat rentals and more. The property owners were extremely responsive and you can tell how much they care for and love the property. Honestly I can’t say enough about this place…we will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Christmas in Texas Hill Country
Modern, well-maintained property and friendly, helpful owners. Two-tiered backyard deck is great for entertaining, as is the open concept family room and kitchen. The owners had the place decorated for Christmas.

Beautiful property and welcoming hosts. Terry and Helen went out of their way to make our family feel at home. We had plenty of room to cook, play games, fish and rest as we reconnected as a family. I would definitely return to the lakehouse to create more special memories.

Great time with the family
This property allowed us to accomplish our goals: hang out with the whole family, catch fish, play in the water, kayak around, cook and eat good food, and relax! The home is beautiful and nicely laid out. The young 'uns hung out upstairs in the play and bunk rooms. The fisher persons got to fish and the crafters had their own table to create on. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality cookware, utensils and appliances. The fridge and freezer held all our foods with ease and the ice makers kept up with our demands. We did research and found out the wine fridge is not cold for sodas. The coffee maker is drip style with a thermal carafe so the coffee stays warm. We bought a cheap $20 K-cup coffeemaker at HEB for those fancy and "just need a cup" drinkers. The pantry is awesome and has some of your basic supplies you might forget, plus plenty of room for 4 families' worth of weekly supplies. The small appliances included a slow cooker, blender, hand mixer, food processor, toaster, griddle, and toaster oven. It was a joy to prepare meals in the kitchen. The grill outside worked good. For sleeping I was thankful for the recliner in the master bedroom. The others said the beds were nice, but learned it's best to bring your own pillows if your neck is particular. Also, because of the concrete floors you might want to remember your comfy house shoes if your feet are tender. The house had plenty of supplies and basic linens, but a few needed blankets for TV watching (because of Covid I realize it is best to bring your own favorite from home). The yard is beautiful and shady, and often full of deer (so be careful where you step!) The butterflies, bees and hummingbirds loved visiting the awesome flowers in the front of the house, and we enjoyed watching them. It is Texas so there will be mosquitoes, but they were not as bad as we expected with all the water around. A very important part of our vacations is fishing, and preferably in the backyard. The dock and cover, with the picnic table fit our wishes. We caught a few fish from there and a few up the creek using our kayaks. The channel there does not have much traffic so we enjoyed playing in the water, which at times had a film of organic debris from neighbors' yard work but the bottom is clean and water is not nasty. The peddle boat prefers slow peddling. Terry, the owner is very easy to work with and quick to respond. We definitely recommend this home!

Terry and Helen were wonderful hosts, responding promptly and giving detailed answers to any questions. Their home is stunning inside and out and has extremely spacious common areas making it ideal for large groups. It’s clear they have guests needs in mind. We would love to come stay again next year!

Family Fun at Lovely Home
All our children and grandchildren had a great time at this rental. Plenty of room and great patio overlooking the cove. We were outdoors most of the time and played Corn Hole for hours on end (on of the many games available. ) I can recommend heartily. Our kids asked us to get it again.

Relaxing Weekend
Amazing time at a beautiful house. We had four kids under 5 and they had a blast running around the backyard. We took the paddle boat out, made s’mores in the fire pit and enjoyed dinner in downtown Marble Falls. There is also a great park VERY close to the house that’s shaded that the kids loved. House was beautiful, lots of upgrades, beds were very comfortable and it was more than enough room for the nine of us. Kitchen had all of the things we needed to cook and everything was very clean. Back patio is perfect with lots of seating and space. Owners met us when we arrived and gave us a tour to make sure we knew where everything was. Great people, it’s obvious they care about the property and take great care of it. We also had http://mobilespahsb.com/ come to the house one day and the master bathroom was perfectly setup for the esthetician. Highly recommend.
