"Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was an almost perfect late fall weekend and just loved being able to watch the sunrise from the comfort of our living room. Everything was as stated in the description. Having a heavy duty crew cab pickup presented an interesting endeavor getting turned around 😆, the driveway was very steep and not a ton of room. I managed. Skee Ball was a huge hit. Didn’t explore the dock since it was the last weekend of October. Would definitely consider staying there...

"We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The quiet setting with nature was relaxing. The camp site downstream allowed us to hike back to their falls. That was more accommodating for a couple in their 70's than adventuring down the spiral steps at the cabin. Improvements - replace the sofa with recliners that work. The left recliner is broken and was wired fast to keep it from reclining. My wife has some allergies and was bothered with itchy eyes. Not sure why."

Host was friendly, & communcation was prompt.They are located across the st. & the pond in the listing is actually on their home property, but we'd recommend this place regardless. Just book it!"

"Paul was very attentive and prompt in our communications. Everything was spelled out in the agreement and everything from booking to departing went smoothly. The house is located about a 5 minute drive to great restaurants and small quaint town nearby. Everyone had a great time and the house was great for our gathering. First thing we noticed was the extremely large dining table which was great for all our purposes. Located amongst the corn & alfalfa fields in a very quiet but beautiful area....

"This is our second trip to this property, and it continues to be a stress free and relaxing excursion. The home is set up with everything you could want, and stuff you didn’t know you needed (like a towel warmer!). And the hosts are the best… friendly, organized, and just good people."

"The view was fabulous, as was the outdoor living space. The property is not well suited for 2 couples with one bath upstairs with bedrooms and the other bath on the main level. The kitchen was great, well stocked but the sink was pretty disgusting. Nothing that a little Soft Scrub with bleach or Mr Eraser wouldn’t take care of. All in all a nice property, just better suited for a family with kids. "

There is goose poop everywhere the grass is overgrown. I should have known when i got an email the day of telling me now i have to bring my own propane tank.i asked her if it was completely secluded quickly after booking. "This was our 2nd time staying at this property, as we enjoyed it so much the first trip! We love that the cabin is quiet and private, while still being just a short drive to vineyards, lakes, restaurants and more. We did have to reset the router a few times as service would cut out, but that’s no biggie (and expected with the amount of wind when we visited). Such a wonderful place to relax, with all the comforts of home. We can’t wait to return for a 3rd time!"

"Such a cute house and property! We highly enjoyed our stay!! The house was amazing and the hotub was so clean and relaxing!! Love that it is just a couple miles from a few wineries and town. We will be coming back!"
