Too bad to take a shower because of the bathtub but it does not say that it is very difficult to get in and out of the shower and that it is not "box" type. "Loved staying here on our way to Invercargill - tried to book again a few days later but no vacancies It was a lovely cabin, spacious, comfortable, quiet with noise curfew, easy parking, close drive to the township but you could walk off energetic The reception was so welcoming for a one night stay"

"Loved the convenient carpark porch and the spacious, comfortable room and living area. The toilet basin was very tiny, so we ended up using the laundry basin instead — thank you for the complimentary laundry facilities. It would be great to have a dustbin in the toilet for added convenience."

"This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. "Wonderful house in Twizel. Clean, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood. Bit far to walk to town center, but just a 2-3 minute drive. Only downside was they told us after making the reservation that there were no toiletries (e.g. shower wash & shampoo). Internet password was out of date but they were very responsive in providing updated info so not a big deal."

"Our amazing stay in the Ashley Mackenzie villa was magical! The view of the glacier lake, the mountains, and Mount Cook were spectacular. Kaye and Luke were gracious hosts and Anna was a dream to work with. The villa was first class and very well appointed. We lacked for nothing! The chef prepared 5 star dinners that were delicious and delivered every evening. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and pampered stay."
