"May not suit everyone, but if you want a very quiet, relaxed time, this is perfect. The cabin was superb, with everything you need. No TV, and that was fine. The owners were lovely, Stan and Ienke were gentle souls who were always on hand. The satnav. did not take us directly to the camp, but it was easy to find. Beautiful cycling area. Would definitely go there again. This is a place of quiet and peace, a place to unwind. It has a wildness about it that is endearing."

"Groot genoeg voor 2 personen. Om in bed te komen moet je fysiek nog soepel zijn. De houtkachel is nodig in de koude maanden. Aardigheid aan stoken is dus gewenst. Qua inventaris is alles aanwezig. Douche is prima. Kookplaat uitstekend. "

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind super. Was fehlt, sind Haken und eine Ablage im Badezimmer. Die Heizung wird durch ein Thermostat geregelt. Das muss man wissen."

"Travel (from the US) required by company (30 days); needed a place not too far from Leeuwarden. Location: Commuting between cities/towns (Gronigen, Leeuwarden, Marum...etc) was easy and relaxing. Nice rural settings on local roads, suburban and urban narrow roads require astute attention. Supermarkets 5-20 minutes away. Be aware, some supermarkets do not accept credit cards. "Maison spacieuse et très accueillante, qui invite à passer des vacances en famille. Jolis aménagements extérieurs. Jardin, terrasses, veranda. Ponton sécurisé par un filet très discret (nous avions deux enfants en bas âge avec nous). Toujours un endroit pour se prélasser à l'ombre ou au soleil. Sorties en bateau électrique sur le lac, pour se rendre au restaurant, à la plage... Promenades autour du lac. Slow tourisme. Peu de choses à visiter dans les environs. On a profité à fond de la maison...
