"House was comfortable and well-equipped. Loved the location - easy walking distance to restaurants and waterfront. We also enjoyed the covered porch."

"Clean, comfortable although we didn’t use pull out couch, walkable to shops and restaurants. Would stay at this property again. "

"Wow what an amazing view. We only spent two nights but would stay here again. It was also in a good location near a lot of things. As we were leaving we had a great breakfast at the Egg River Cafe. Even if you do like we did and get one pancake to share you they are a must try. The only thing I did not really care for was the fact I booked on VRBO and then the management company wanted me to sign up for their app which I did not do."

"This was perfect for our son’s casual wedding rehearsal dinner party and for 12 family members to stay together. The owner, David, is exceptionally accommodating and easy to work with. The house is spacious and well kept with a really nice outside area for entertaining."

"Amazing place! Felt like home w comfy beds and pillows. Sufficiently stocked for cooking in home meals. Only 4 wine glasses so keep in mind if many wine drinkers. Scandinavian style furniture you can sink into! Great having 2 masters! Kept the windows open for cool breezes and of course the stunning views! Checkout instructions were different from email so we used the ones posted in the home. Never could get the garage key pad to work but may also have been different instructions in email...

"We loved staying here, it was rustic, simple and relaxing. I loved the rich history and the care and thought Ian put into making the cabin enjoyable. The selection of books, a beautiful wood stove and a little record player added to the old time vibe. Thanks to host Ian for preserving and sharing this gem with us all. "

"A warm cozy cabin that we had the pleasure of enjoying for a night. The sauna was a delight that took our breath away. The firewood stove was a warm and so beautiful, to be in a cozy cabin while it snowed in the forest around us, leaves me speechless with joy in my heart Wishing we could have stayed longer!"

"It was by far our most favorite cabin that we have stayed in! The vibes were great as we stayed in the cabin during some rainy days. The interior was immaculate and we loved every minute of it. The view through the giant windows was an incredible view. We would 100% stay here again. "

"The house worked out great for our family to have access to xc skiing on Mt Hood over the MLK weekend. The boys loved the game room ping pong, darts, and foosball. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is set up to cook and bake. The gas grill might need a tuneup or new cylinder as it wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been. Comfortable and clean, everyone had a good time. "

"Great river/mountain view from our 2-queen balcony room, which was very large and scrubbed clean. Fridge, microwave, iron, TV with many channels/networks, full length mirror. Coffee maker with locally-ish sourced coffee. (Which, however, was the only bad thing about our stay. Very bad.) The entrance to the campus was a little discouraging, but the room was super. "O hotel é histórico e recém reformado. Tem todo charme do início do século XX, com o conforto da modernidade. Muito bem localizado, é possível fazer tudo a pé. Há opção de estacionamento pago ($10 por dia) aos fundos do hotel. Em dias calmos, é possível estacionar na rua com parquímetro. A decoração do hotel é impecável. Uma ótima opção em Hood River. "
