"Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). "We stayed here for 3 days. The house was super clean and comfortable and the property is beautiful, clean, and dreamy! You walk outside and hear rushing water it's absolutely beautiful, super private. the beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and eager to please. I would 1000% recommend this property!"

"The weekend we stayed was so great! We had some friends come up with me and my dad and it couldn’t have been nicer. So much sleeping space and lots to do. The river behind the cabin is slow moving and great to swim and fish in. The bars were just a bit far away from the cabin but worth checking out. The food around it was great recommend muddys and the village tavern."

"Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. "
