Visit our Troba (Cabin) for a unique and tranquil getaway. Perfect location for any occasion. From Birthday parties, to Intimate Weddings, Corporate retreats or a family/friends get-togethers and simply staycation.
Modern Luxury design interior, total of 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, Movie room , Game room with Pool table, Foosball table, dry bar, Sauna, Steam room.
Outdoors are professionally and beautifully landscaped and lighted with outdoor hot tub, fountain with Fire feature, wood Fire pit, Grill and patios.

Highly Recommend!
We had an amazing weekend at this rental house! The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly spacious, with plenty of beds to accommodate our group comfortably. The host went above and beyond, leaving champagne and chocolates for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made our stay even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely book again!

Weekend wedding
Our stay was overall a great experience, and we would definitely do it again. The location was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend, allowing us to celebrate and enjoy quality time with family and friends. The owner was very communicative and easy to work with, which made the planning process much smoother. The only downside we encountered was a noise complaint due to our DJ during the wedding day. It would have been helpful to know in advance about potential noise restrictions or to have neighbors informed about the event, especially considering it was a small wedding celebration. Aside from that, we truly enjoyed our time and appreciate the space. It's a beautiful venue for a special occasion!

Fantastic Family Gathering
Our family was in town for a wedding held offsite, but used the beautiful home as our base for a Labor Day weekend. Laura was great to work with in communicating everything about the rental. There were fresh flowers, wedding party cake pops and a bottle of champagne awaiting us, which was a very nice touch! We wish we would have booked a longer stay to be able to enjoy the home more, but made the most of the hot tub, steam room and sauna. Everything in the home was well thought out and very comfortable, very well stocked and clean. The back yard was gorgeous, if we would have stayed longer we would have enjoyed a bon fire to spend time in great backyard. We had a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Troba for a bachelorette wellness weekend for my sister. I really wanted it to be special and a weekend everyone would remember and this stay did not disappoint. From the very beginning stages of planning and reaching out to the host with an inquiry, the weeks leading up to our reservation, and throughout our stay the host was very responsive and helpful. She replied quickly and offered recommendations. All of the tiny details made the experience extra special including but not limited to the cake pops and fresh flowers, the chocolates left on our beds, and the toiletries. The property is more beautiful than the pictures which I didn't think was possible. The rooms were spacious, the common spaces were open and accomodated our group hanging out comfortably, and the amenities were all great. We had chefs make brunch one day and everything they needed was available in the kitchen. We also had a guided sound bath meditation outside and the yard was spacious, well manicured, and so serene for this experience. Overall, the home was beautiful and the amenities worked well. We did have an issue with the hot tub that was able to get figured out and the host was very helpful and even offered to send maintenance which didn't end up being necessary. I would highly recommend booking a stay here and will definitely look forward to returning in the future!

Amazing property!
What can we say, except totally amazing! The property and amenities were well appointed and resembled a resort quality and feel in Homer Glen. IL. We stayed 4 nights at the end of May 2024. We had our wedding on the property and had a wonderful time. Anything we had a question on or had a slight concern with was addressed timely by Laura and her team. We highly recommend having your next event here. We give it 5 stars! Thank you again for allowing us to have our wedding at your property!

Great Time
We stayed at Troba last year and stayed this past weekend again. The owner, Laura, responded instantly to any questions I asked her. Her house is not only beautiful but she supplies you with everything you may need. Even though it was cold my grandkids loved the outdoor hot tub. The sauna and steam room were wonderful. The theater room and game room were awesome. Thank you Laura for sharing your beautiful home!!

Christmas Celebration
Our stay at Troba was amazing. Our family celebrated the week of Christmas and not only did Laura make the property feel like home with many personal touches, the holiday decorations added a special touch. We were grateful for all of the amenities and enjoyed them all. The grounds are immaculate as well the property.

This location never fails to impress.
This was the third time I've stayed at this location with friends for a local getaway. The space is a great blend of rustic and modern. Close enough for a commute but isolated enough to feel like a vacation. The host is communicative and professional. You won't regret your stay here. Looking forward to staying here again next year!

I calibrate my birthday in this gorgeous house with huge backyard. Spacious room's and bathrooms are decorated 10/10. This house is perfect to relax or celebrate 🍾 Definitely will stay again.

Celebration of life
Absolutely beautiful house and property. We hosted roughly 100 people for a celebration of life gathering (3 hour event). The back yard is gorgeous and was the perfect setting for the event. There is so much room, it hardly felt like that many people were present. The house and yard are quite secluded - which we loved! You feel a million miles away yet civilization is just 4 min up the road… The best of both worlds. :) In addition to all the fun you see in the pictures online…the bunk bed room has a closet full of toys for small children, there are games for older kids and adults. The kitchen has just about everything you can think of for your party/event. And no detail was overlooked on the part of the owner. My friend made a spectacular charcuterie board and used the gorgeous block-wood cutting boards provided by the house. It was an absolutely stunning presentation. The owner was very accessible/attentive when we had questions. I was very appreciative of that. The parking area of the driveway will fit about 15 cars :) To get the rest of the folks to the house, we had a couple friends and family drive their own cars to shuttle the attendees from the near by Target to the house. It worked out quite nicely but if you think you’ll need to do something similar, I would suggest renting a van or shuttle service for convenience sake. Everything was so easy. We are talking about renting this house again in the future.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway
Laura the property manager was always in touch and responded immediately to any questions we had. The property is very nice. Home is well taken care of. We had twelve people for a small wedding and it was perfect. I agree with other reviews that the pictures don’t do it justice. If I had to make a suggestion for improvement it would be to have better seating in the TV room, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely suggest this home.

I would like to give this property 6 stars! The property is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The property is wonderful for entertaining. The kitchen and bathrooms were wonderfully appointed. In fact the BEST I’ve experienced at a VRBO rental. Great dishes, cookware, serving pieces, toiletries, etc. The property manager was outstanding. She communicated quickly and was helpful in all regards. She was also the best I’ve ever dealt with. Overall a great experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the property in the future.

Troba Wedding
My wife and I held our wedding at Troba. It was perfect. Laura was outstanding and did everything possible to make our day as easy and relaxed as possible. The property itself leaves a plethora of photography options and is picturesque. Fun fact, there is a trail in the woods that wraps around the back of the property. The house itself is packed with amenities that include the basement that entertained our guests for hours. We will be recommending Troba to our friends and family. Only nice to have improvement I can think of, is to create a binder with the checkout list and maybe how to get the lights on outside. This way the guests have that knowledge when they arrive. Thank you again Laura, it was truly a pleasure.
