Welcome to Beach View Retreat, a custom-built home on a quiet, peaceful street and is just a quick stroll away from the soft white sugary sands of one of Anna Maria Island's top beaches, Manatee Public Beach! This five-bedroom and four-bath getaway features a private pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and a rooftop deck with fantastic views of the bay to the east and even the Sunshine Skyway to the north. Pack your bags for the best vacation yet!

In the kitchen, you will find stunning cabinetry with culinary essentials and space for groceries, stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and island seating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a lovely modern coastal seating area with a tv and a formal wood dining table, plus two separate entries to the front-facing balcony.

The primary bedroom is like a private suite with a seating area, tv, and a private balcony with a small table and chairs for your cozy morning coffee with a view and access to the rooftop deck. The primary ensuite bathroom has a double vanity, tub, walk-in shower, gorgeous stone tile, and a walk-in closet! The second and third bedrooms are on the third floor and have bright beachy colors, private balconies, and share a hall bath with a walk-in shower. The downstairs bedrooms have bright beachy d cor, pool views, and their own ensuite bathrooms.

Relax in the secluded, lushly landscaped backyard with a pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen with a grill.

This home does not allow pets.
There is no outdoor TV provided at this home.

*Please note: 4 cars maximum can park at this home. We ask our guests to please plan accordingly and coordinate with your group. There is no overnight parking available for additional vehicles.

This home is managed by AMI Locals, an Anna Maria Island property management company.

We do not accept reservations from anyone under 25 years of age. We do not allow persons under 25 to occupy a property unless accompanied by someone over 25 years of age.

Great family get away!

Stayed for a week with family. Enough room for everyone to spread out or gather together. Loved the location close to public beach and grocery. The backyard with pool and spa was a favorite for all. House is furnished with comfortable bedding and towels. Many looked brand new. We cooked in most evening and kitchen had everything we needed. The floors could use a good cleaning. Overall, we loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return again.

While the home has some charm, it is dated and needs refreshing. Maintained backyard pool, quality linens and towels, well equipped kitchen are positives, broken blinds, ripped and dirty drapes and floors that left your bare feet filthy are negatives.

Great pool and only 1 block walk to beach

Great place. 5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms. Very nice kitchen, fenced in pool area with an outdoor kitchen/grill, tables and chairs along with 4 loungers to relax and catch some sun. The beach is a one block walk. Quick responses from both owner and rental company.

Family Vacation

We had a beautiful vacation on Anna Maria Island 🏝️. The house exceeded our expectations. For a group of 10, there was plenty of space, fully functional kitchen, the washer/dryer was helpful for many sandy/salty towels, and the pool/hot tub were awesome. It’s a quick walk to the beach. Book a stay here. You won’t be disappointed!

Ideal location and perfect home for families

Nine of us stayed for the week of June 8. Kids were 2,6,& 8 with 6 adults. The layout was just right for us. The pool and shade area was great for afternoon swims when it was too hot at the beach. Manatee public beach with all of the amenities was just across the street. Inside the house the furniture was not too formal and not too cheap. We didn’t have to worry with the children. The large coffee table has a puzzle going on it the whole week. We would be happy to stay here again! Management was available by text and very responsive to our few extra needs. *The floors could be cleaner but the bathrooms and kitchen were perfect.

Amazing!

This place was excellent! The proximity to the beach made this trip excellent! We could walk to the store if we needed anything, and ride the free trolley around the island. The house was perfect! We loved all the beach chairs and wagon. Pool was beautiful!

A Week in Paradise

We spent a wonderful week at Beach View Retreat. The house was fully stocked, very clean and easily accommodated our family. The beach was right across the street. A beach cart was provided which made it easy to cart all our stuff. The pool, hot tub and patio were a great place to have afternoon drinks before going to dinner. We would definitely stay there again. Can’t wait to go back.

It was just okay.

This place has potential. This house has all the basics, but there is no attention to detail…..Here are my suggestions for the owner. 1. The house needs a deep clean. There are bedrooms that have such filthy windows, baseboards, doors knobs, kitchen cabinets. 2. The kitchen needs a complete inventory. We planned to eat most of our meals in, as there were nine in our family. Not enough flatware for us to all eat without taking turns. I let management know and received another set right away. I also had to ask for plastic drinking cups as I didn’t want to hand the kids glass goblets to drink from and risk breaking. What is there, seems like random junk left by previous guests. 3. If you decide to visit here, bring your own scatter rugs. Not a single rug in the entire house….not even the front door, so you have endless white tiled floors, lots of sand and no barrier to stop it from coming in. By the end of day one, I could already feel the grit under my feet (imagine 5 kids coming in and out from the beach and not a rug to wipe your feet on. This meant I spent way too much vacation time sweeping floors (the broom needs to be replaced too). By day three, I made a Walmart run and bought rugs. 4. When the pool filter blew up (not an exaggeration) I let management know immediately. It took almost the entire week we were there, to fix. They kept the chemicals flowing and said we could still use it. By Friday, 3 in our group had chemical burns. We will not be returning.

Good choice

Property in great conditions. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Bathrooms in good conditions. Location is wonderful, near the beach. The pool was clean. Only the BBQ was not that clean. Our stay was great. I would definitely recommend this property

Wonderful home

We really enjoyed the home.beach is close enough. Home very clean. Decorated beautifully. Bathrooms very nice. Beds were comfortable. Couch could be cleaned. Kitchen needs silverware!!! No pot holders. Ice maker does not work. TVs have Roku. All work. Needs a vacuum or better broom. Needs a new grill bush. We could not get the pool lights on at night and could not heat up the hot tub. Maybe leave instructions on how to use remote. Pool was very nice in the shade in evenings and cleaned twice. There are rats in the evening (probably unavoidable) around grill. I suggest you dump your trash after cooking. The stairs are a lot! We had a lot stuff for 10 people. Elevator would have been nice but I understand. Over all great home and I would rent again!

Another fantastic VRBO family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Beach View Retreat! My siblings, our spouses and I spent the week relaxing and enjoying ourselves in this great property. Plenty of room for all nine of us, close to the beach, and clean! The property manager responded quickly to our few questions and the pool man showed up twice to make sure the pool was sparkling. If we could have asked for anything, it would have been more clothes hangers in the closets, a few pot holders and some dish towels. We would definitely recommend this property for your visits to AMI and we plan on staying there again!

The property was okay. There were rats on the fence by the pool in the evenings. The grill by the pool was so dirty that it smelled when sitting by the pool. My son ended up cleaning the grill and the drip pan from the grill that was disgusting. It was very time consuming. The pool was cleaned at the begining of the week and never again. It was cloudy by Friday. There was no vacuum only a old broom to clean the floors inside. We had 10 people but there was 4 spoons in the silverware drawer and no plastic cups for by the pool. The biggest disappointment was the internet went down sometime Friday and we never got it back. We paid alot for this place and couldn't even watch TV in the evenings. Disappointing.

Family getaway

Great location very close to beach. Two families of 4 stayed and had a blast. Walking to the beach each day followed up by pool in the afternoon and cooking out by the pool then going up roof to watch the sunset!

Great Location

Great space in a great location. Beds were all very comfy! Kitchen could use some attention! Cheap plastic plates and bowls were less than desirable. 3 coffee makers-2 with no basket for coffee, 1 w/ broken carafe and one basic coffeemaker that worked. Broken mug and chipped glass in cupboard. House could have been cleaner, but was manageable. Broken wagon and only 5 chairs for 6 people was less than adequate for the price!! Again, loved the location and space!!All AMI personnel were pleasant and helpful!

close to the beach

We found this property to be clean and in good condition. we had a minor issue with a bathroom door that wouldnt latch. We called on a Sat. and were pleased to get a Sunday morning repair. This is a great location with the beach, groceries, and pharmacy only a block or two away. The pool was the perfect temp and offered sun and shade for our granchildren to play in when the adults were worn out from the beach. We stayed at a house next door a few years baxk and loved it as well but our famy has grown so we needed the larger occupancy allowance that this house offered. 3 king beds (and 2 queens) and large beautiful bathrooms. We will likely stay here again.

Nice property with excellent property managers

The house and property were clean upon arrival. After only one day the refrigerator died. We placed a call and maintenance staff was there immediately. Unfortunately it took 4 more days to have a working fridge, but they did bring one for the garage. It wasn't convenient, but they did make it right for us. One major gripe is that there are NO dressers in the bedrooms. Four adult couples had to live out of suitcases for a week, which is unacceptable. A simple solution would be to put an inexpensive dresser in each closet (which had no hangers either). Kitchen could use some rectangular pans, a mixer, measuring spoons, mixing bowls, etc. A quick trip to ikea would take care of these things that make it a comfortable stay for adults. All in all, nice home.
