Upsetting property management and vacation
The 2 properties were nice, but there were too many problems at both. It took many calls, texts and a few days to fix problems at each-some were never resolved. 1. At the Villas, toilet wouldn't flush. Chain connecting the handle to the inside mechanism was missing. Vacasa did call a plumber who came within 2 hours to fix it. How did housekeeping or mgmt. miss this? 2. There was no notebook of property instructions. Many requests for one went unaddressed. Vacasa said there were no laundry facilities on property. Neighboring customers showed us laundry facilities, an outdoor grill, trash receptacles, etc. 3. Villas ad said it sleeps 4 (1 bed 1 sofa bed); there was NO sofa bed. We asked to be moved. One of us had to sleep on sofa cushions 3 NIGHTS. VERY upsetting.4. NO cable TV remote or instructions despite repeated requests. 5. Metal strip found in garbage disposal. Was told Vacasa inspects properties after each customer. Doubtful but needed.6. Finally transferred to Spring Ave. home further from beach, same cost but w/o cable TV remote, no light for entry stairs, low water pressure in baths, a doorstop in garbage disposal, darkened water in the pool, lights went off-owner hadn't paid bill, no mixing bowl-I bought one. All fixed in 3 days except 4 water pressure which I reported when we left. Vacasa offered 2 25 dinner gift certificates for our troubles. Thx, but TOO MANY PROBLEMS with slow or no fix.
