"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"Rose Cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable and was just what we needed for a short break. Sue the host was lovely and left a pint of milk in the fridge and popped round to put the heating on for us. The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located for visiting the surrounding area. We had a wonderful break and would definitely return. There was a lovely pub called The Duck at Burtle which was very nice and about 15 mins drive."

"We arranged a few nights to spend some time away with our 2 sons and their girlfriends. We had the small cottage and they shared the larger one. It was ideal, we could spend time together but not on top of each other. The cottages were very well equipped, especially as we took turns cooking for each other. "The caravan was clean and comfortable would of been better if there was a path up to the property and we didn’t have to walk across wet grass that had been cut in places so all our footwear got soaked and. Covered with grass as did the caravan every time we went in and out it rained a lot !!!"
