"This very comfortable place was ideal for my wife, 3 son, and dog. Sea views from front room and bedrooms were amazing. The beach is directly accessible by a series of step with no road between. We have a well-behaved dog, and did not use the lead from house to beach. Our host Patsy was very responsive and took care of any minor issues very rapidly. Highly recommend even in the winter. I imagine it would absolutely incredible in the summer "

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. "We recently had a 4 night stay at Dovecote house. A lovely house set in a primal location of all Alnwick local amenities. Upon arrival we were surprised by the size of the upstairs,3 double rooms, one twin and 2 bathrooms, just what we needed for a group of 7 adults 1 child, a baby and a dog . "Booked for one night only. Checked in quite late in the evening, which wasn't a problem. Friendly reception staff. Comfortable room and no noise issues despite being on main road opposite train station. Only issue was that after going for early morning stroll my room key wouldn't work when I returned to hotel. there was a staff member in the corridor but they said they could not open room and I'd have to go to reception. Got lift from 5th floor down to reception and they recharged keys. ...
