Nice central apartment with S-Bahn connection to Heidelberg and castle view

The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people and is centrally located in Hirschhorn.
The equipment is of high quality and modern, so that even longer stays promise a pleasant time. The kitchen is equipped with dishes and cooking accessories, a coffee machine is also available for free use (coffee equipment).
Due to the proximity to the train station (10min walk) you are quickly in Heidelberg (approx. 25min) and the entire Rhein-Neckar region (e.g. Mannheim) and the Palatinate (e.g. Bad Dürkheim, Deidesheim). The apartment is therefore ideal to be used as a starting point.
Also within walking distance are restaurants and a self-catering supermarket, as well as doctors and pharmacies.
Internet is included in the rental price for free use, as is a television for free use.

Schöne Tage am Neckar
Die Wohnung war in einem Top-Zustand. Die Ausstattung entsprach zu 100 % dem Prosekt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Durch die Bahnanbindung im 30 Minuten-Takt können die umliegenden Orte (bis nach Mannheim und natürlich Heidelberg) komfortabel erkundet werden. Wir können die Wohnung weiterempfehlen und würden nochmals buchen. Eine Anmerkung noch. Da die Wohnung zwischen der Hauptstraße und den Bahnstrecke liegt, ist es bei offenen Fenster in der Nacht etwas lauter. Uns hat dies aber nicht gestört.

Sehr herzliche Vermieter, die uns sogar zur Begrüßung einen Kuchen gebacken haben und tolle,saubere Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht (auch Öl und Salz war alles schon da). Auch mit kind ganz toll und wir durften sogar buggy ubd spielsachen des Enkels benutzen.

Saubere gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit großen hellen Räumen und allem, was man braucht. Im Ort sehr gut gelegen, Supermarkt 5 mins zu Fuß, Bahnstation nach Heidelberg 10 Min zu Fuß. 30 Minuten nach Heidelberg Altstadt. Sehr zu empfehlen auch als Alternative zum Überbuchten Heidelberg.

Ferien mit Enkelkindern
3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (9 +12 Jahre alt). Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön und großzügig eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht - sogar ein toller Kaffeeautomat. Sehr schöne Ausflüge: Obrunnschlucht, Wolfsschlucht, Heidelberg, Naturpfad südlich von Heidelberg, Schloss Hirschhorn bietet ringsum viele Wanderwege. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne FEWO und tolle Gastgeber

We had a pleasant stay in Hirschhorn; the apartment is very spacious and has an excellent kitchen and bathroom. The weather was not superb and the train was replaced by a bus, but for both inconveniences the very pleasant owner can not be blaimed of course.

empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt. Selbstgebackenen Apfelkuchen, gekühlten Wasser, Abholen vom Bahnhof so fing unser Kurzurlaub an. Die herzliche Begrüßung war wunderbar. Lovely Apartment for Our Family
This apartment was perfect for our family of five. It is spacious with really nice gathering spaces. We especially liked the balcony. It is situated in a small, historic German town. Within 5-10 minutes you can walk to a castle, the historic downtown, the river, a grocery store or multiple good restaurants. Our hosts were wonderful.

Ein super Ferien Zuhause
Mit der tollen Wegbeschreibung habe ich zusammen mit meiner Tochter und dem 3 jährigen Enkel den Weg zur Ferienwohnung gut gefunden. Wir wurden persönlich vom Gastgeber empfangen und er hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Sehr sympathische Gastgeber! Wir bekamen die Schlüssel zur grossen und sehr sauberen Wohnung. Alles modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche stand ein leckerer Apfelstreusel für uns bereit. Vielen Dank, wir haben ihn genossen. Die Wohnung ist ideal und geräumig, gerade auch, wenn man mit einem Kind unterwegs ist. Von der Wohnung aus ist es nicht weit zum Einkaufsladen oder zur S-Bahn nach Heidelberg. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wonderful area, great apartment, felt like a home away from home.
Hirschhorn is a hidden gem and a great place to stay and explore. This property was wonderful, with welcoming hosts and a central location. Rooms were all large, and everything was there to make a very enjoyable experience for a family. Would highly recommend this property, hope that we can one day return.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten zwar nur einen kurzen aber dennoch sehr schönen Aufenthalt.
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön zentral gelegen und kann sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge entweder zu Fuß oder auch mit der Bahn genutzt werden. 2 kleine Minuspunkte habe ich. Die Einfahrt zur Garage ist sehr schmal, da muss man echt langsam fahren. Aber wenigstens steht das Auto dann sicher und geschützt. Das 2. ist, das es von Vorteil wäre zumindest in den Sommermonaten teilweise Insektenschutzgitter zu installieren. Aber ansonsten hatten wir nichts zu bemängeln und würden jederzeit diese Unterkunft wieder buchen! Mfg Familie Hubert

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in toller Ferienwohnung und Umgebung
Wir wurden wunderbar aufgenommen, die Wohnung ist traumhaft, sehr gut ausgestattet und in toller Lage auch für Bahnreisende. Familie Bissdorf sind aufmerksame und sehr symphatische Gastgeber. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts!!! Der Apfelkuchen am Ankommenstag war super lecker, genauso wie der selbstgemachte Äbbelwoi, den wir probieren durften. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und kommen gerne wieder!

Stay here if you are going to Heidelberg
The place is huge and beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It is on the top floor, so no one is stomping above you. When you enter you are in a long hallway. The bathroom is on the left, then the kitchen, then the bedroom with a single bed. On the right is one of the rooms with two beds. At the end of the hall is a living room connected to the master bedroom. Each of the bedrooms is big, even by American standards. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. When I asked a question about the train station he offered to walk me down to the station and help me with the ticket machine. Super kind. His English is fantastic, even if he isn't super confident in it. His son speaks it more fluently and is available via the app email system in the unlikely event you have a communication problem. There is an electric car charging station, which is cool because the stations I could find in town were all a hassle. It is a short walk to the train, and then an easy trip to Heidelberg. I would not recommend driving in Heidelberg, just take the train and walk around. Your gps will inevitably drive you down narrow one way cobblestone roads or pedestrian walkways that are really only available to delivery trucks. There are several good food options right across the street. The grocery store is an easy walk as well. The owners has a beautiful garden, including apple trees. as others have mentioned, delicious cake is involved. 11/10. Would stay here again.
