"This was such a cozy retreat for us. A glimpse back in time. Wonderful hosts with good communication. House was very clean and interesting. Beds comfortable and lots of blankets and linens. We just needed some extra sleeping space for our near by family Thanksgiving, but we ended up getting so much more!"

"For us, this is a little slice of heaven. This is the fifth year we have brought our grandchildren here for a visit. They love it and are asking when we can come back. The animals are a big hit. Bob is amazing!!"

"This was our first Vrbo experience. We stayed 8 nights. The location off of I-81 was perfect. Check in was super easy. The code to the door arrived two days before our trip. I gave 5 stars to communication with the host, but I gave 5 stars because I didn't have a need to communicate with him. Some minor repairs are needed, but other guests mentioned them so I did not feel I had to communicate them as well. I actually prefer the no contact check in because my dog does not care for...

"I enjoyed my stay at the Wright Place. I had communication with the host before arriving, and I told her my reasons for traveling (birthday related, not mine). When I arrived to check in, I was shown around the property and there was a present waiting on the counter! There was also a little bucket of snacks on the counter, pastries in a dish, and water bottles in the fridge! I thought that was very kind of her. The area was nice and quiet, which allowed me to catch up on some much needed sleep...

"The upstairs one bedroom was great although the steps took some effort. The open living room, kitchen and dining room gave plenty of room to spread out. The porches on each end really added a nice touch as well as the fire pit and stack of fire wood. The walkway to the creek was well done and gave easy access. There was nothing to really complain about but I would mention the water pressure was not high even when we were the only ones staying but the hot water was truly and pleasantly hot. We...

"We needed a quick place to stay after a family gathering about 15min away. This house was perfect in every way. Plenty of room to accommodate our little family. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. She went over and above and even pulled out the couch bed and had it made for us. I would 100% recommend this stay. We will be coming back when we are in the area. "

"The location was perfect for us and the home lovely. The owner was quite attentive and easy to reach."

"What’s great place to stay! We had so much privacy and direct access to the river. The place was very clean, the grounds were also very clean well maintained with so much to do. We were just a short drive to downtown Johnson City and the surrounding areas. We had such a great time fishing and hanging out by the river here, we hope we get to go back!"

"Our families had a great time staying at this property! The house was very clean, extremely well labeled and organized, plus stocked with everything you need. The host communicated promptly and was easy to reach. Our kids loved the indoor pool and our pup loved the open space! Thank you for a great stay!"

"Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. "
