Nicer than expected
The home was very clean with new carpeting. We did find a couple of dead bugs but I guess they were dead which is a testament to the spray they used :) I assume they would have been found if someone did a walkthrough of the house the day we took possession. the pool’s spa couldn’t be separately heated up which didn’t make sense but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the pool. The yard is lovely although lots of no seeums which kept biting. It was a great home to stay in with our large family for a week. Because it’s run by a management company don’t expect any or the extra little niceties that rental homes often have. There was no coffee provided and the kitchen items were basic but very functional. They had major small appliances like a toaster and crock pot and the washer and dryer were on the newer side. Lighting in the master bathroom
Is really dim and there is no outside light illuminating it. The upstairs bathrooms and rooms are definitely showing their age but I can’t reiterate enough that the home was very CLEAN which to me is worth it over a home with newer renovation. We would definitely stay here again. The sitting rooms were extremely comfortable as were the porches. We have stayed in a lot of rental homes on Hilton head and this one was the furthest from the beach just because the costs have gone up so much. Even though we had a 10+ minute walk to the beach being on the lagoon and being able to keep our kayaks on the deck was a nice added feature of this home.
