"Wonderful river experience, majestic cypress trees, clear water, rope swing, variable water depths for all ages from wading infants to swimming. Historic house is impressive, very comfortable for our group of 16. The key area for improvement was the cleanliness of the house. "

"Wonderful large open home in the country with a beautiful view. Perfect for a large family. Very large fenced yard front and back. Don’t have to worry about the little ones roaming off! An unexpected bonus was arrowhead hunting. There is flint everywhere. Definitely would book again!"

"The house was great. I just wish that the living room ceiling fans had a switch/pull to leave the fan on but turn the light off. Also, beware of the scorpions! Since the area is so dry, they are out more."

"This stay was amazing. So quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside in the cool hill country weather. Loved that there are cows with new calves running around. Also enjoyed the morning wake up by the rooster on property. This property was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone."
