Laurel Cottage in Highlands, NC, is a three-bedroom home with two full baths oozing with mountain elegance. It is located at the end of a quiet neighborhood cul-de-sac and is only a few minutes drive to Main Street, Highlands.
The minute you step inside, you will feel the serenity of this mountain home, with its wood floors, light and bright interior, and tastefully furnished antiques. Everything has been refreshed for the 2024 season and is ready to welcome discerning guests.
The split bedroom floorplan ensures privacy for you and your family or guests.
The primary bedroom has a Queen bed and a private bathroom.
One of the guest bedrooms has 2 twins, and the other has a Queen. They share a full bath.
The complete kitchen is bright and is partially open to the dining area and the living area.
The dining area is open to the covered portion of the outdoor deck and is furnished like a second living area.
The living area has a gas log fireplace and has immediate access to the deck's open portion.
The outdoor living is an extension of the loveliness of Laurel Cottage! Relax and dine on the covered portion, read a good book, wine or coffee with friends, or you may even find yourself dozing in one of the comfortable chairs. There is a grill just off the deck area for your use and the yard invites you to walk around and enjoy the natural and perennials of the landscape.
WiFi is available and accessible for your use.
The entrance road and driveway are paved. The parking area will hold up to three cars.

When you book your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, the Property Manager handling this property will be notified by VRBO/Homeaway that a reservation has been made.
You will be asked to enter your credit card information, but you will not be charged for your reservation at this time. You WILL be charged a nominal service fee by VRBO/Homeaway. The fee is between you and VRBO/Homeaway; the property manager has nothing to do with the fee.
After the property manager has been notified of your reservation, you can rest assured this property is being held for you. You are booked.
The property manager will email you a lease. The lease will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to the property manager. If you haven’t received a lease within 72 hours it could be because the property manager/rental office is closed. (Operating hours are Mon-Fri 10-4) OR you may need to check your SPAM folder. Your lease will have options- usually the price you pay will be less than what is shown because all the options are listed.
The property manager/rental office for this property is a small-town business and we’ve been renting properties for over 30 years. We use VRBO/Homeaway for rental leads/reservations. A portion of your rental proceeds goes to VRBO/Homeaway for their service.
