Buckberry Lodge is a 5 BR/ 4.5 bath log cabin set in a lush landscape of perennials and native rhododendrons. This home has three levels and is perfect for one couple, or sharing with friends or extended family. The main level offers: fully equipped kitchen which is open to the ‘Old Hickory’ dining area. The two story living area has a wood-burning fireplace, Cable TV, VHS/DVD with plenty of comfortable gathering spaces. Screened dining porch and open deck with stainless gas grill. Mst. BR (Queen) has a private screened porch and large bathroom with shower and jetted tub. There’s a half bath just off the entry foyer. The upper level has a full bath in the loft area between the guest bedrooms. (2 twins, Queen) The lower level has a family room with wood burning fireplace, billiard table and accessories, small TV/VHS. The lower deck has porch swings and other seating and is accessible from the family room and both lower guest bedrooms (Queens in each BR- one has a private bath, and the other shares a hallway bath). The laundry area is on the lower level. Large backyard area with a small trail that ends up at a nice cool creek. Buckberry Falls is a small area tucked away, yet convenient to shopping, restaurants, hospital, hiking, and more. Main Street Highlands (about 4 miles) and Cashiers (about 10 miles).
NO Pets and NO smoking.
This home has a three- night minimum, except for HOLIDAYS AND SOME LOCAL EVENTS.

When you book your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, the Property Manager handling this property will be notified by VRBO/Homeaway that a reservation has been made.
You will be asked to enter your credit card information, but you will not be charged for your reservation at this time. You WILL be charged a nominal service fee by VRBO/Homeaway. The fee is between you and VRBO/Homeaway; the property manager has nothing to do with the fee.
After the property manager has been notified of your reservation, you can rest assured this property is being held for you. You are booked.
The property manager will email you a lease. The lease will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to the property manager. If you haven’t received a lease within 72 hours it could be because the property manager/rental office is closed. (Operating hours are Mon-Fri 10-4) OR you may need to check your SPAM folder. Your lease will have options- usually the price you pay will be less than what is shown because all the options are listed.
The property manager/rental office for this property is a small-town business and we’ve been renting properties for over 30 years. We use VRBO/Homeaway for rental leads/reservations. A portion of your rental proceeds goes to VRBO/Homeaway for their service.
