"As a volunteer fire department, we utilized Heron Pond Hideaway (HPH) for our inaugural leadership summit. Shannon, the owner, communicated timely to our questions prior to making our reservation. Themed with an ADK decor, the entire facility was beautiful and very clean when we arrived. The bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable for our crew. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and is stocked very well with multiple dishes, serving ware, glass ware, and appliances that allowed us to easily create...

"We use this cabin as a base for exploring south Adirondack hiking trails. We really enjoy the location, the cabin itself, the quiet place and the scenery at diner time after long hike. One of our favorite was very near by : Peaked mountain trail."

"We thought the property was nicely decorated. Everything was functional and a good condition. At the time of the year we were going the pool was not an issue."

"Our family absolutely loved our stay! The house is so beautiful! The kids loved the playground. We all loved making s’mores at the fire pit. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 9. The house is in a private wooded area with the river across the road. You can not see the neighbors once you are on the property. It was only 20 minutes away from downtown Lake George. We are definitely planning on staying at this house again next time we go on vacation. "

"It was just like we hoped! A clean, cozy, rustic cabin that allowed us to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the wood burning stove a lot! We loved visiting nearby towns and hamlets and enjoying wineries, craft breweries and local distilleries. The gem for us was a trip to Lake Placid and reliving the memories of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team.We loved every minute of our stay here and look forward to returning "

"We had a fantastic stay. The home was neat and clean and nicer than advertised and communicating with host was super easy. Location was great and the view was so beautiful. we also enjoyed the BBQ on the deck along with the fire pit for toasting marshmallows. We would definitely go back. It was 100% positive! "A very nice experience staying in a cabin close to Lake George. Apparently 25 min away from the lake. Very spacious with tons of room for the whole family "

"Everything was exactly as advertised and presented . Very clean home , with everything you need . Quick ride to anything you need as well as the town of Lake George . The river is extremely pretty for views and walking by. There’s a cute park right down the road too . Would definitely go back , thank you !"

"Very cute. Very clean. Very quiet. Host was great and super understanding when we had to cut out trip short last minute and refunded us with very little penalty. Incinerator toilet could be stinky outside at times as it exhausts to the side of the cabin. Overall, great little spot for a quick getaway."

"Had an absolute blast with friends at this lovely “modern cabin”. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably with a the necessary amenities needed to get by. Awesome fire pit and river access. We visit Cronins Golf Resort and it was amazing. The place was Caddy Shack meets Cheers. I highly recommend this awesome place for a weekend getaway! "

"This was our second time at the Bossie Camp...my wife, myself and our Lab Charlie. It's such a nice and comfortable place. Very quaint and quiet. The view of the mountains in the distance is beautiful, as is the sunrise through the front window. Great place to just decompress. We can't wait to go back."

"Our group of 3 couples stayed here for 4 nights in late October. The house is 100% as stated and pictured in the listing - absolutely breath takingly gorgeous! We chose this house from a long list available for our dates a lot due to reviews and were so glad we did - the reviews and house did not let us down one bit. We are thinking of bringing our 3 married children and families and staying here in the future. Highly highly recommend this house!"
