Excellent Photographer!
The pictures make the house really nice, but reality is that it has been poorly renovated. Mix and match flooring with uneven thresholds, questionable electrical connections, terrible Wi-Fi, and a set of stairs to enter and exit the house. All this would be fine if they charged accordingly. We paid WAY too much for a house of that caliber.

Got Better Over Time
Initial rating was a 1 star: Broken furniture, Spiders, Mis Guided advertising. As we arrived, we were greeted with broken, rickety fencing around the pool. Spiders and webs EVERYWHERE. Broken boards and chairs just lying in the front yard. The pool area had broken chairs, half deflated pool floats and broken pool net. The code provided for the front door did not work. When we called customer support, they insisted we were not entering it correctly and eventually gave us the lock box code to use the key. Entering the home, we were surprised with new flooring and updated bathroom and kitchens. The cleanliness was appreciated as well. However, It was very odd to see giant bike locks on half of the kitchen cabinets and unmade top bunk beds. When we reached out to customer care about needing bedding for the beds, we were told the top bunks were not included in the booking and are not available for use..???? then why have them at all? We had 8 adult women and were excited that this home was going to give each of us our own space. The washer and dryer are located in the basement... its terrifying. Roaches, cigarette butts, broken furniture. If you are expecting your guests to use the w/d then the space should be appropriate. *Not deal breakers but would be nice: There was No water filter on the fridge or Brita. There were no Additional Towels, just 1 per person. The extra star comes from the overall fact that the pool made the stay worth it. A/C worked great!

The house is older, but well kept and the interior is very modern. The pool was great aside from some missing fencing around it that needs to be replaced. Overall a great place to stay!

Home owner please read
This review is so the home owner knows what an awful job Vacasa the property manager is doing. I checked in on 8/3 upon check in I looked around house downstairs looked very nice the house has 4 remodeled bathrooms and a new kitchen. Upstairs it was very warm thermostat was set to 70 and it was 83 degrees the ceiling fan in the king room upstairs the fan blades were failing off not safe to use. The bunk beds in the other room were so rickety they were not safe to even sleep on the lower bunk. There was leftover moldy food on the window sill and a lot of dead bugs in windows. Thick dust on beds and trash under beds.there are also no fire alarms on first floor. I called Vacasa to report issues. I was told maintenance would be in touch and would be there today. I was there 4 nights and never heard from anyone. I went to the store and Bought tools so I could fix the fan and the beds so I felt comfortable. I have rented Multiple homes and Have never seen anything like this, the cleaning fee is very expensive for this house and the cleaning company is Doing nothing. I received a text while I was there from Vacasa cleaning services asking Me about the property. I told them Everything and attached photos of all the trash and dirt in bedroom.They said thank you but Never heard anything else from them I have also never seen A Property with absolutely no cleaning supplies. I left $20 in cleaning supplies at the House maybe they’ll use them. The owners are being taken by Vacasa.

Disappointed overall
Property was not ready for check in on time, no communication. Cable tv did not work during stay, no one attempted to resolve the issue. Broken furniture, poor maintenance terrible communication. Its a nice location close to Dahlonega, but would not stay here again.

Poor entrance. Extremely poor lighting at the entrance. Can NOT see the Number of the property. Extremely small Bathroom inn the first floor. No place to leave the soap in the shower in the first floor.Inadequate amount of cleaning material on arrival.Very old chairs in living room. Dirty areas around the house.

Was a bit disappointed, thinking there was more of a view. The inside was very roomy, clean, and furnished functionally. Can see this property is probably under renovation. The outside needs a lot of work obviously. But we were very comfortable inside and it was convenient to the Three Gap Bicycle Event in Dahlonega. No complaints and encouragement to the owners as they update and improve the exterior of this home.

Great place, good location
Great place for all ages. Pool was clean and area private by the pool. Road noise could be heard outside, but not inside. House was clean and updated inside, however updates needed outside. Quick trip to town and wineries. Overall would stay there again!

Exactly What We Needed
We came for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter graduating elementary school. We chose the location bc of its proximity to Georgia's Little Grand Canyon and because it has a pool. It was exactly what we needed to reconnect as a family. The pool was great. My daughter loved it. It was clean inside and around the pool. Plenty of pool toys and floats. Plenty of seating. I did not like the way the back door to the pool was. It would swing open and had no railing on one side by design and I just worried my kid would fall but she did not. That was my only complaint about our whole stay. The beds were comfy. The couches left a little to be desired but we didn't use them much. Just for winding down before bed. The kitchen was great for cooking. Grill worked fine. Dishwasher worked. Showers were nice. Water pressure was great! We didn't hear much road traffic at all. There are not neighbors close enough to hear either even though there is a house across the street, we simply didn't hear them at all. Local restaurants were awesome. Plenty to do around town. There's a small zoo close by as well.

Family Trip
The pool was enjoyed by our family. The house on the outside needs painting and some repairs. Only negative thing for me is the downstairs king bedroom doesn’t have an attached bathroom. You have to walk through living room and bathroom w/shower is on the other side of house by the dining room. There is a small bathroom next to kitchen.

Big house with potentials, but not ready to be rented out.
The house is spacious, with big bedrooms, a nice, large kitchen and a little secluded, which we like; however, there are bug colonies on the ceiling of different rooms, several walls were dirty and scratched, there were spiderwebs everywhere, including on the stairs to the second floor. While in the house, moths landed on our heads and arms three times. The dining room had 9 burned out light bulbs and the kitchen sink was leaking when we arrived, I called Vacasa as soon as we entered the house, but those two problems were taken care of on our third day there. The bedrooms only have a floor lamp, no ceiling lights, which do not provide sufficient light after dark. The closet where the bunk beds are was full of insect droppings, my grandchildren had to keep their clothes in their suitcases on the floor. The nice, roomy kitchen does not have a cutting board (we had to buy one to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner), no decent knives, or baking sheets/pans, the kitchen mitten is old and dirty, and we could not get the dishwasher to work. When we arrived, the two trash bins outside were full of trash. Even though this is supposed to be a home away from home, there was not a single hair dryer in the house; the shower in the master bedroom was difficult to control, the water comes out scalding hot or cold. The living room sofas are not the one in the website's pictures, they are cheap sofas with a stretchy brown slipcover that did not stay in place. And the internet reception is terrible, which was a shame because one of us was working online during our stay. The one plus is that there were many large, nice towels in every bathroom. I requested a refund in the amount of half of high price I paid for the Thanksgiving week there, but even though I sent them many pictures of the house's condition from day one, all the managing company refunded me was less than 1/4 of the price, which I find unfair and unprofessional. After so many years using VRBO and going to Georgia during this time of the year (and none of the homes/cabins we've stayed in had bugs), this is the first time that we have encounter a house in such condition. This is also the first time we heard of Vacasa, we have always dealt directly with the owners before. This home has potential, but it needs a lot of work; I do not recommend this house in the condition it is presently in.

Everything was good except for it needed a good deep cleaning and it needed a good pest control service. Also the temperature of the Thermostats need to be checked and the plumbing of the temperature of water needs to be checked. Other than that it is a very spacious house appliances and kitchen are great the pool is awesome except that it needs to be heated to be able to be used you around And the house needs to have a hot tub on the Very spacious porch. Overall is a very nice place

Nicely upgraded home
Very spacious and clean home with nice upgrades. Convenient to downtown Dahlonega, outlet mall and sight seeing in the mountains. Check in and check out processes were very easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Quick 2 night stay
The house inside was clean. The outside could have been maintained better. The pool wasn't cleaned until the last evening of our stay. We cleaned a lot of it before we got in. We had just gotten out of the pool for the rest of our trip. Then the pool guy came and cleaned it.
