Alpine River Suites #504 - Coca-Cola-Themed River Condo in Downtown Helen

You are in the heart of all Helen has to offer. In the summer, you can walk to the access location for the Chattahoochee River Tubing. When you get back from tubing, grab a bite at the North Georgia BBQ on your way back to the condo, or choose from one of the many other restaurants nearby.

Sit out on the deck and enjoy the peacefulness as you watch the river flowing by. Grill out on the provided grill while you enjoy a glass of wine from one of our local wineries. There is so much to see and do in Helen. For the kids (and adults), there is the Alpine Coaster and several locations to play mini golf. Enjoy strolling the streets of Helen - whatever the season - and do some shopping or grab a funnel cake.

Helen is a great location for family fun anytime of year. Come & visit during Oktoberfest where you can try German foods & beer, listen to authentic German music, and have the time of your life. If you prefer to enjoy nature and the more serene side of the area, there are some amazing hiking trails around Helen and outstanding waterfalls: Anna Ruby Falls near Unicoi State Park, Duke Creek Falls, or Raven Cliff Falls. There is something for everyone in Helen; make it your next vacation!

Great location and close to everything
I would rate this stay a solid 5 stars because of the fantastic location, the charming apartment ambiance, and the delightful river-facing patio—perfect for remote work. However, there is room for improvement in the kitchen amenities. For a week-long stay, we found the kitchen wasn't as well-stocked as others we've experienced. Items like salt, pepper, cooking oil, and aluminum foil were missing, which meant a trip to nearby Dollar General was necessary, despite its convenient location. Additionally, although the apartment includes a washer and dryer, it would be helpful to provide some detergent pods or a small package.

Location, location, location
Wonderful second floor suite for a couple within easy walking distance of tubing, restaurants and shops just one block off Main Street. The balcony overlooks the river and is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktail while watching the tubers float by. The kitchen is sparsely equipped but manageable.

Property was clean and quiet. Walkable to some areas if you are into walking. Being in late 70s it was a little far to most popular spots. But overall, not a bad experience.

Pleasant Stay
We enjoyed our stay at Alpine River. When we arrived, there was a musty odor in the room, the air seemed to be struggling and the floor (only the floor, everything else was great) in the bathroom had dirt on it. I immediately texted the number we were given and within a couple of hours, our air filter was replace and the bathroom floor was spotless. The layout of the room was great. It doesn't feel closed in. We walked all over Helen since it is close to all of the amenities. We would definitely stay again.

Anniversary getaway
This is one of the absolute cutest and clean places we have ever stayed! Soft towels were placed on bed, bed was very comfy. It was just a great little condo. I would definitely recommend your staying here when visiting Helen! Side note hubby said only thing missing was an ice cold coke waiting for us when we checked in. Lol

Perfect!
We stayed here last year for our anniversary and couldn't wait to come back again this year. Everything was just as perfect as it was the first time. We will be back next year. Read the description of the place and then you decide.....we promise you will love it.

Great location near downtown and on river. Unit private and quiet as downtown area can get rather loud. Couple days max is all that is needed in Helen. Unit older and needs updating but overall was good experience.

We really enjoyed our first stay in Helen. The property is in a prime location to walk everywhere. We only got back in the car to go to Anna Ruby Falls. The unit was very clean and super comfy. We loved having the porch to sit on and watch the river flow and see a few tubes floating too! we will be back!

Overall we were happy with the room and location. The only recommendations that we can offer is to change that shower head, it needs some attention due to the water flow that comes out of it and on the deck there needs to be higher chairs so you can have a better view of the river instead of having to look through the decking rails.

Excellent location
The room was very clean when we arrived. We liked the fact that there was no traffic walking by our room. The view of the river was an added bonus. We were within walking distance of practically everything in Helen, so we were able to leave the truck parked during the entire stay. We will likely rent again during our next stay in Helen, provided we can get the same room.

My Mother and I had a wonderful stay.in your facility. I did not realize when I booked the facility was not a cabin. My mother is 85 years old. I did not realize the the suite was up two flights of stairs. The suite was clean and decorated so cute and it made us smile. It was also nice to have a full kitchen where we could make some of our meals.We enjoyed being able to see the river just of the deck. Thank you for hosting us.

Property is in the middle of Helen. Easy walking to everything so you don’t have to pay to park off the Main Street. Brand new appliances in kitchen. Quaint little apartment that is perfect for 2.
