"If you are looking for an affordable place to stay and fish Okeechobee this is the place. Plenty of vehicle and trailer parking. Minutes to the boat ramp for easy lake access. Nice dock to relax and cast a line, plus fish cleaning station. Cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable. I also enjoyed the nice quiet neighborhood, and the host is wonderful. Highly recommended."

"What a lovely spot on the creek! Loved it! Two bathrooms, so it was perfect for my son and I. This is a clean bed and kitchen. It's not a place to hang out inside as the living area is small, but if you plan to enjoy the kyaks and Peace river You won't find a more charming place or host!"

"The pictures looked good online but it was even nicer when we saw it in person. It's very nicely decorated and the back patio area, being right on the lake was very relaxing and beautiful. The great room was really well equipped for our needs."

"We enjoyed our stay and had a great time fishing, playing pool, and hanging out in one of the many outdoor spaces. Communication with the host was excellent and friendly. Lake June was very nice. We learned after booking that we could not put our boat in the boat house (I didn’t see this in the listing), so heads up on that if it’s a big deal to you. Also, this is an old house - and the A/C did not cool the upstairs well at all. We kept the place closed up as directed, but even with high temps...
