B - Wine Country Getaway

Summary:
Great Townhouse for a wine country getaway.

Please use the Airbnb app for self check-in instructions! The owner is severely allergic to animals, so please do not request or bring any animal with you. We have an automated backup generator for loss of power issues!

Full kitchen, Outdoor patio, BBQ, Fire pit (propane tank included but not fuel), Two bikes included in stay. California King Tempurpedic bed. Laundry room, Fully renovated bathroom.

The Space:
Thursdays are live music in Windsor Town Green during the summer! A 7 minute leisure bike ride, bikes provided. Two tasting rooms within a couple minute bike ride.

• A leisurely bike ride to downtown Windsor
• An $8 Uber ride into downtown Healdsburg
• Tasting rooms, Restaurants, Breweries, Shopping less than 5 mins
• 10 Minute bike ride to the Russian River
• 20 minutes from Lake Sonoma
• Less than a hour from San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma

We have added an air purifier for your health and comfort!

Guest Access:
Full studio, laundry, patio space. Windsor and Healdsburg have town centers with discounts to local events, food, and tastings.

The Neighborhood:
Rural area in between downtown Windsor and Healdsburg.

Getting Around:
Uber or Lyft are recommended ways to travel in between wineries. Tour services are also available.

Other Things to Note:
Uber is about $8 into either Windsor, Healdsburg or to the Russian River. The studio has been completely remodeled and is attached to the main house(separate locking entry doors with keypads) and next to a landscape business across the way. Also, we have a tankless hot water heater and well so you can take long hot showers to relax! However, keep in mind with well water sometimes it has iron or sulfur smell like the geysers. You have black out blinds and all the amenities to have an amazing stay!

Really easy to get to, clean, and quiet! People booking: make a note of the letter used in the title of your stay. That is the house number you will stay in. Didn’t put that together until long after we got there. Otherwise we had to guess which place was ours by which door the code unlocked.

Spacious studio
Clean property, secured by a gate with a code. 3 or 4 units on the property. Water pressure was a bit low, otherwise a perfect spot in between Healdsburg and Windsor. Just off the Arata Ln exit. This was my second time staying here. I would definitely book it again.

Just the right size for 2 guests. The Vrbo was very clean. We enjoyed sitting outside in one of the many seating areas. I think this location would be fun for a few couples, everyone would have their own sleeping area, but could enjoy time together outside.

Excellent place to stay!
Really enjoyed the rental- great size, good condition and convenient location! Felt safe and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and convenient and the bathroom was big enough for the two of us to get ready at once. Definitely a good value and highly recommend. Bring your own pillow if you can!

Wonderful Property!
This was our first time staying at this property and my husband and I were very pleased. The pictures and description are 100% accurate. We loved having the added security of being gated in. Super easy with the code to enter and exit and we liked being able to park right next to our unit. Although near Highway 101, it was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay again!

Great location and nice Sonoma hideaway
Really nice unit with good furniture and really nice amenities. one of the things that was nice was it felt very private in a secluded part of the valley, but was easily accessible to get to nearby Healdsburg and lots of wineries.

Windsor Stay
This property is in a great central location that made it easy to get around. There was no communication that the property is one of 4 or 5 vrbo’s that are being rented out on the same property. It took some intuition based on the pictures/checkin instructions to find which one was ours, and even the cleaning staff was unsure which property was ours. Also, the pictures of the property are quite misleading as there are several photos of areas that are only available if you are renting unit A (such as the main bar area). The room was clean, however there was some sort of mold or mildew in the washer and our AC unit—the whole house would smell of mold if we did not leave the windows open while we were out of the unit. This not only felt to be a waste of energy, but was also not possible some days due to smoke/air quality in the area. There was a broken wine glass and batteries were dead in the TV remote on arrival, the host resolved this in a little over 24 hours, which was a bit more than I would have liked (mostly since the host did not send any type of message other than that he was letting the cleaner know about the issue). Finally, the kitchen was nice, but the cooking supplies available were very limited. No functional knives, cutting board, mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, very limited cooking utensils.Great location and price, unit and response timeliness could have been better.

Of the three units, mine was the only one occupied at the time which was good because they were not labeled A,B or C and I had to try the combination at each one to find which one was mine. I did appreciate receiving the combination to the gate and to the door in advance however it would also be helpful if I could have received a phone number to call if I had a problem or if the combination did not work. There was not a phone # anywhere in the emails and I did not find one in the room.
