"Disappointed with the house we stayed in. We didn’t know that it was a “lived in” property. No room for our groceries (pantry already full). No room for clothes and was not cleaned properly. It wasn’t what we expected considering the amount of money we paid. However The Shed was a great place to celebrate my birthday with family and the courtyard was fabulous. Pool was not clean. Beautiful surroundings and we loved the bird Avery. So a mixture of a fun weekend but also disappointment. "

"Rustic Spirit is a magical place to unplug and slip into the tranquility of this property. The privacy of the chalet, the spa and the outlook make this place something special. The hosts are lovely and we’re a great source of local information and the on-site massage was amazing This place is a must if you looking for a bush-mountain experience without all the hustle and bustle of Katoomba. "Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "
