"the house has some misleading photos online vs what it looks like in person- there are some different couches, etc pictured. then there are the pictures of what the property actually looks like as well. this wasn’t a big deal but just made the listing a bit inaccurate. they also mentioned having a hair dryer for guest use on the property, and did not have one. the neighborhood was nice, it was very quiet and felt very safe. the heating was working when we arrived, then by the next morning it...

"This is a nice summer stay. The beach is just across the road (a busy road). It has everything you need. However, as an off season it is not so great. There’s a very good heat pump so being cold was not the issue, it’s the door. Not sealed well so it rattled with the wind and let in cold air. I sealed it with a newspaper to stop the rattle and cold air. The floor is also somewhat slippery when shoes are wet from rain. I all minor when there during the summer. "

"I give this place 3 stars, its a nice place with a good amount of room but there are a few issues. Our stay was Monday - Friday, just 2 adults. Pros - lots of room. Cons - no ac. There is a portable ac unit on wheels in the bedroom however, the exhaust vent goes behind a curtain to the window but not outside. There is no way to open the window for the exhaust vent to take the hot air outside so it just pumps all the hot air back into the room. Be prepared to wake up at 7:30am every morning...

"With seven family members, aged 3 to 67, we were all comfortable for our week stay during super cold temps and a snowstorm. Plenty of room for a couple of dogs too. The house was welcoming, didn't worry about breaking anything or ruining furniture. I was very grateful for the opportunity to hang out with my family and grandkids without worry, and enjoyed the ambiance of Salem very much. Thanks to Meg and co.!"

"The house was as listed and provided plenty of space for our family to eat and hang out together. Beds were comfortable. Towels plentiful and nice quality. Heat worked. Plenty of hot water. We just have two suggestions for improvement: the dishwasher does not clean dishes at all. Not even a little. The kitchen tools are there but are so cheap they hardly work-a spatula shouldn’t bend under a pancake. All the knives are extremely dull. "

"As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed how clean it smelled and looked in the apartment and we really appreciated the little touches that was left such as games to play and popcorn cups left for the four of us. "I stayed in another property in Hampton Beach a few years back. It was dirty to the point of me having to clean the toilet and kitchen before we used them. By contrast, Hybiscus was sparkling clean and clearly well-cared for. Quiet neighborhood, close to beach, cozy interior. Highly recommend!"
