Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. . Come and discover Collingwood, set in the charming village of Marloes within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Around 400 yards walk is the National Trust’s Marloes Sands, a truly beautiful beach with swimming, sandcastle building and sun bathing. It has been used in quite a few blockbuster movies due to its stunning outlook! Nearby is the village of Martin’s Haven where you can take a boat trip to the islands of Skokholm and Skomer, where you will be sure to be amazed by the puffins, Manx shearwaters, razorbills, harbour porpoises and Atlantic seals to name a few. This coastline is truly wonderful with rugged cliffs, coves and turquoise waters making this area a must see.
Nestled on the edge of the picturesque village lies Collingwood, a Victorian semi-detached property on a country lane a few fields away from the coastline. This characterful property has retained all of its original charm with quarry tiles and feature fireplaces in most rooms. The current owners have lovingly furnished this beautiful property to provide a great base to explore the area, both bedrooms offer a light and airy space and have been well finished to provide a good night’s sleep. Enjoy dining out al fresco on your lawned gardens and take in the fresh sea air. Within Marloes you can pick from two pubs serving fantastic food and locally brewed ales, they also specialise in fresh locally caught sea food. Nearby in Dale you can enjoy the yacht club, restaurant and a water sports centre, a 5 minute drive away. Avid walkers can also take a stroll along some of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath that runs from Amroth in the south, passing through Marloes and onto Cardigan in the north - be sure to bring along some binoculars and a camera! The coastal resort of Tenby is surrounded by medieval walls which were built to fortify the town, and these are still in place, compete with arches into the town leading to the cobbled streets and harbour and is around a 45 minute drive. Beach 400 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
