"I will commence by stating that this is not my first visit to The Mariner's. It is and will be my first choice for staying in Haverfordwest. So, clearly, i have stayed in a large number of their rooms.
You have to know or remember that the building is historic having been in operation since 1625, so don't expext the rooms to be uniform in proportion. Having said that, they are generously sized with, for the most part, large and bright bathrooms. The room i had this time had the largest shower...
"Great location for day trips to anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially Skomer. Overlooking the marina and only 5 minutes walk from a wide selection of good cafes and restaurants, but their own food is good too! Friendly staff.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped but the bed was a little hard for me (like most hotels). Not all rooms have baths but I was able to change at no extra cost. "
"We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, drove over 4hrs and was not disappointed. The grounds are absolutely stunning, our room was simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make your stay comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back soon. The rare bats that live in the tower are a really lovely feature to an already incredible venue, when we arrived it was dusk and they were very active, a real sight to behold. "I can’t recommend The Wolfscastle Inn enough.. staff were soo attentive, welcoming and lovely! ( Seb/Richard and ladies) The food at the inn was delicious, breakfasts and dinners! ( nice one Seb and team) The family room was perfect, plenty of space and cosy and clean.. I’ll definitely be back! Perfect location and such a cosy pub to return too. Richard even provided us with free takeaway drinks for our journey home, so thoughtful. Such a great stay! 👌👌🎉"

"The Plas breakfast was one if not the best I have had anywhere, all freshly cooked. Also, plenty of choices to suit everyone. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but one little criticism is that there was no handle to aid getting into the shower/bath. This was mentioned to the receptionist in the morning, she duly made a note of it and would pass it on to the maintenance person. Would recommend the Plas and would go back there. "
"Lovely compact room in the main building. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. One of the best cooked breakfasts we've had - excellent quality and nicely presented. Fantastic location on the high street in Narberth with on site parking. Would definitely recommend and I'm sure we'll be back to stay another time. "
"Elm Grove is quiet and surrounded by countryside. The hotel has a tennis court and Croquet on the lawn. We had a lovely meal on our first evening, but they don't serve meals every night. Our room was large and comfortable and a dressing room was a bonus. Highly recommended."
