Everything was great except the work done by a very rude handyman. We were told it was going to be one day to replace an old rain gutter. That ended up be one two full days. Took over the whole front yard with tools and our parking area. Took lunch on our porch like they owned it and talked loudly in a foreign language for over an hour until i asked them to please not be there. We couldn’t watch TV because it was so loud. I feel we didn’t even have a say to if they could be there and were mislead as to how long. We paid for seven days and only could enjoy it for five in my opinion and it was stressful dealing with the indifferent handyman. I feel he said whatever he thought I wanted to hear and did the opposite, or it was a language barrier. Im sure I’m not the only one who would strongly feel this should have been scheduled when no one is there. That’s what we paid for a relaxing experience. Besides a lot of ants in kitchen and master bedroom everything else was great. I’m from Hawaii so I know Ants are an issue in the tropics but I’ve been in many houses that are able to keep it in control. I gave communication with host four stars only because we were told one day for work to be done and it ended up being two. Besides that Colleen was amazing and very apologetic about everything that happened. Even invited us over to her place. So I have no issue with her it’s more to the owners that scheduled the work. They should know better and that review is for them. Partial refund?!
