"If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. The cottage itself is huge with many relaxing areas to spread out and enjoy quiet time and great spaces to come together to enjoy a meal or play a game as a family. "My family and I rented this cottage based on the past reviews and the cottage description. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly described and was filthy when we arrived. We were assured by the owners that the cottage has been cleaned, but we did send photos of both buildings that proved otherwise. A cleaner was sent a day later but by then, we had already cleaned a bit. The kitchen had a tap that wasn't properly attached, stinky dish cloths, oven mitts with holes, drawers and cupboards...

"We were at Cutis’s lovely home for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with the kids and grandkids. There was something for everyone there! Everyone enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. It was fun to try shuffleboard and air hockey. The kids took out the canoe and a kayak and the young ones even had a quick dip in the lake. Others just fished. The whole area is beautiful, especially in the fall. We were very happy with our time together...

"Couldn’t ask for a better place for a family getaway that is pet friendly. Modern amenities throughout made for a stress free experience. The property is being updated. Brett welcomed us on arrival and check in instructions were communicated by cell phone. and other cottages are being updated."

"My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."
