"This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. "They advertise that the house sleeps 15 and it does. We were 12 and it was great. We were amazed with the large supply of dishes and glasses. There was also a good supply of staples such as coffee, sugar, oil and more for cooking. Lots of room to relax indoors and outdoors"

"From our arrival and seeing Bill unloading wood for our stay and showing us around the property, and the things we will need to know to the beautiful rustic interior of the cottage and the view of the lake, with all the wild life, this was absolutely a amazing 9 days for us and our dogs. "The property and the hosts were more than we expected. We stayed at the cottage because of a music festival that we attend every year. The cottage was only 15 minutes away and was by far the best place we have stayed in. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved having a fire our first night then waking every morning with a coffee and watching the fog clear on the river. We would not hesitate to book again!"

"Very very pleasant staff, just getting off a shift at 10 I thought I would’ve been in a red zone for checking in so late but they were very understanding.
