We felt very lucky to secure this booking a couple of days before Xmas (assume someone cancelled) as location, price and amenities were perfect. "We had a wonderful stay in a lovely one bed garden apartment. Well equipped and clean, with a comfy bed, plentiful hot water and a good shower. The grounds and pool are spotless. The property manager is the best we've experienced in our mulitple visits to Australia. We were greeted, out of hours, with a welcoming smile, nothing was too much trouble. "The location was so serene even though you were still in a residential area. The unit was immaculate and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The little extra touches were much appreciated. It was obvious that a lot of thought and attention to detail had gone into the decor. The outlook down to the river was beautiful and so peaceful. "Great location in between town and pippies beach. The unit is very basic but functional. Had a top loader washing machine, no dishwasher, only one air conditioner at the front of the property so the bedrooms were hot! Shower is in the laundry which is fine. Main issue was the toilet smelt like a rank men’s public toilet despite every effort to clean it. Had to keep the door shut at all times. Needs to be fixed!"

"Iluka beach house is a true holiday house, inground pool, fish co-op round the corner and the pub over the road with a beach out the front, it was very easy to eat, drink and be merry at Christmas time. If you couldn't have a good time with family at this little charmer you need to pack up and go home! We had a three night stay and would like to stay four nights next Christmas but the booking site is telling us it is now a seven night minimum which we are reluctant to do."

"The house is beginning to show its age. Although it was comfortable there was still a number of issues that were relayed to the estate agent. eg Scalding hot water, failure of air conditioning, leaking washing machine, and kitchen mixer tap broke off in my hand. The estate agent was right on to everything. It was walking distance of Yamba Fair shopping centre."

"Cozy and convenient place to stay. Nearby multiple beaches, restaurants, shop outlets and my favourite, the brewery. Even with heavy rains and winds the accommodation was ideal for a day inside with a range or games and books along with the essential tv. Would recommend and stay again next time. "
