Sandy Spot is our place to relax, unwind, and enjoy all the Cape has to offer! Everyone has a place to hang out. Having coffee in the sunroom, playing games in the family room, and enjoying meals on the deck. We love the short walk to the beach, and easy access to the rail trail, shops, and restaurants.

Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Sitting pretty on a Harwich Port hilltop is a charming home ideal for family beach vacations. Sandy Spot has easy access from the driveway on Route 28 and winding up to ample parking near the home. The family member in charge of beach transport may find that they prefer parking behind the house at the end of a quiet cul de sac and only a half mile from popular Red River Beach. Regardless of where you park, you will be close to both the entry door on the back of the house as well as the shed which holds beach amenities and some history as well since it stands proudly as part of the originally built home.

Conveniently located near the back entry is the outdoor shower - perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach! Just inside the doorway is a hallway where you can kick off shoes and a half bathroom (Bathroom #3) as well. At the end of the hall you will find the spacious Primary Bedroom (#1) featuring a Queen-sized bed, Smart TV, and an en suite bathroom (#1) with an oversized walk in shower.

Passing the Primary bedroom, you arrive at the formal front entry of the home and nearby sitting area - perfect for reading a book, enjoying a cup of coffee or perhaps excitedly awaiting the arrival of family/friends as you overlook the woods. Adjoining this space is the dining room with seating for ten near the fireplace (not functional) and beyond is the open kitchen area. With white cabinetry and sunlight streaming through the windows, this is a cheerful spot with ample counterspace and everything you need for meal preparation.

Pass by the glass door leading to the back deck which runs the length of the house, and you will find yourself in the family room which features high ceilings and windows galore! Cuddle up for movie night or simply relax in the comfortable seating within this space and thoroughly embody your "Cape Time" persona. Additional connection and access to the back deck from this room makes it easy to flow from indoor to outdoor entertaining.

Venture to the upper level and you will find two bedrooms that run the width of the home and provide more than enough space to unpack and feel at home. The first bedroom (#2) offers guests a Queen-sized bed, Smart TV and additional Twin-sized daybed - perfect for little ones who aren't ready to be away from their parents. A bathroom (#2) in the hallway, featuring a tub/shower combination, is shared by the two bedrooms on the upper level. Finally, a truly fabulous bedroom (#3) space for kids, teens, tweens and anywhere in between! Providing two Twin-over-Double bunk beds and a Twin-sized daybed as well. This is the perfect hideout for the younger members of the group - feigning their independence while being safely under the same roof as their parents - a perfect compromise and surely the backdrop to many fond memories! There is also a cozy nook with a floor lounge to stretch out on for reading, napping, or viewing content on the nearby Smart TV.

The outdoor space surrounding this home begins with the expansive decking with built-in bench seats throughout and leads down to the park-like promenade of lawn - the ideal place to play games or lounge in the shade after a sun-filled day at the beach. While the nearby outdoor shower is great as a rinse station during the day, it becomes a Cape Cod tradition at night for those more adventurous souls who enjoy showering under the stars!

With a short walk to Red River Beach, proximity to the food and fun in downtown Harwich Port, countless trails and parks nearby and 2100 square feet of space to call home, staying here will give you the feeling you get when you traverse the shoreline and find your perfect Sandy Spot!

DOG FRIENDLY HOMES are for a DOG only. This home allows 1 dog for $25 per night. With owner approval, a second dog may be considered for an additional $25 nightly fee. A Pet Registration form must be completed upon reservation confirmation.
Max parking of cars at property: 4 - No parking on lawn anytime.
Fireplace in this home is not for guest use.
