"Lovely staff but starting to get run down. They boast of the £1.8m renovation but that was done in 2013, but it’s now showing signs of having nothing done since. The carpets are tatty and walls marked. The restaurant food is solid and waitstaff attentive. Overall a solid 4 out of 5"

"The property was somewhat quirky, but in the ideal location to stay over while visiting the area for motocross. The owners were friendly and welcoming on arrival and at breakfast. One of the only things I can really pick a fault with is there was a really strong stale smoke smell in the bathroom which did hit you when opening the bathroom door, so could do with a freshen up and maybe an air freshener in there. The bed was really comfortable, the quilt / duvet was incredible too- I tried to...
