"We loved our stay at Peveril Cottage – it’s quaint, cosy, clean & a stone’s throw from everything in Bakewell. Check in/check out instructions were easy to understand & communication with the host was quick & easy. The parking space is an amazing bonus, as parking is hard to find in Bakewell, especially at busy times. We’ll be back!"

"Good location for Sheffield although the area is a bit drab. Parking was more difficult than we expected. The apartment does not have its own parking, it's street parking any mostly permit holder only with literally a few spare free spaces so it's luck if you get one. The apartment block is nicely decorated and we had room 1 which was a studio. Had every thing you needed including dishwasher & washing machine and detergents for both (neither of which we used) but no shower gel in bathroom....

"The property was ideal for a large extended family get together. Comfortable bedrooms and shared rooms, with nice private garden to relax in when sunny. It had all the facilities we needed and was clean throughout. Phillipa, the host, was always responsive on messages and gave us a lovely welcome gift of warm bread and cake. "It was an amazing stay with everything we needed on the houseboat. Great accommodation in a lovely little area on Victoria Quays. It was a little breezy on Friday so the boat moved a little bit after that hardly any movement at all. Really clean boat that provided everything you needed and more. Would 100% recommend. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in these combined cottages which have been refurbished to a high standard. The setting beside the river is lovely - saw kingfishers and herons. Beds v comfortable, bathrooms good. Worth mentioning that all bedrooms are up stairs, but our party, whch included 2 with walking difficulties managed fine. We are very likely to come back"

"Staff were helpful and great to talk to, and parking was convenient. Actual hotel is a bit of a walk from town centre, so bear that in mind (there is a bus stop within a 5min walk). On the other hand the area was nice and quiet (although I did stay outside of the academic year). Also this hotel has communal kitchens on each floor where you can cook and store leftovers, but there is no restaurant, although the Halifax Hall nearby does if you need a meal."

"Everything was spot on from start to finish. Only thing i was say if you could have facility in the ladies toiets for the time of the month . As i came on unexpectedly, i spoke to a member of staff behind the bar, he did everything he could to provide me with what i needed. I couldnt thank him enough. Thank you so much. To finish off our wonderful stay, the breakfast was absolutely beautiful, just what was needed. Would highly recommend this to everyone."
