The cabin features a large 20'x13' master bedroom with large electric fireplace and patio doors leading to a 500 sq ft deck. The master bedroom has a King sized Sleep Number bed, 2 end tables, a dresser and a chair and ottoman.
A separate laundry room with utility sink and closet for coats, boots etc. is located just inside the front door.
The main bathroom features a double vanity, plenty of cabinet space, and a jetted tub. Towels and wash cloths are provided.
The great room is a true entertainment area with a kitchen tucked in the corner that contains everything you need from utensils to plates to pots and pans along with a 3 stool breakfast bar and a kitchen table for 4 people. The great room also contains a love seat, couch, chair, and ottoman and a 55 inch flat screen TV with streaming services. In the center of the great room is a beautiful stone and knotty pine fireplace and patio doors leading to a 300 sq foot deck that overlooks the forest and a heavily traveled deer trail.
Off of the great room is the 2nd bedroom which has 1 Queen bed, a dresser, 2 end tables, and a television with streaming services. A private 3/4 bath (sink, toilet and shower) is adjoined to this smaller bedroom.
The home also features a 6'x12' front porch with a covered roof. With an abundance of windows, including huge trapezoid windows in the great room, this cozy cabin allows you many views of the beautiful outdoors. Some of the wildlife that have been viewed on the property includes white tail deer, black bear, turkeys, bobcats, fishers, chipmunks, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, cardinals, blue jays, eagles, black squirrels, and gray squirrels. And, if you are really lucky, you will see a moose! Moose are extremely rare but we did see one near Woodruff, about 20 miles away.
Plenty of blankets, throws and pillows are available.
*for security reasons, there is a camera located outside facing the driveway. This is camera is also used to verify occupancy.
**the cabin is on a one lane dead end dirt road, which is well maintained. The road leading to the cabin is on a hill, and the hill does get slippery in the winter. Please be sure you have good tires. Vehicles with all wheel drive or front wheel drive shouldn't have any issues. If you have questions about this just ask.
