"We had the best time here. So peaceful and beautiful. The place is down a dirt road, so probably need 4wd in the winter and definitely bring groceries since the closest dining is a bit down the road. The place was spotless clean, the most comfortable beds, and beautiful setting. "

We got married at Ragged Mountain and this inn was a perfect spot for our wedding party to get ready/ hangout after the wedding! "I was here with my girls and their kids to visit my mom and my sister who live in NH and havent got to visit in 4 yrs. Was the perfect space for everyone to visit and spend time together. Everything was perfect as far as space and beauty and luxury."

"Stayed here with my husband and teen daughter during a visit to see my son at Dartmouth. Location was super-only 15-17 min to Hanover. A 2 min drive to Simon Pearce restaurant for dinner! Condo was clean and beds were comfy. Air conditioners worked well. Bathrooms were clean. We did not use the kitchen, but the appliances are new and the kitchen seemed well stocked with cooking supplies. Recently renovated. Would stay here again in the future. "

"Our family had plenty of room. There was no instructions regarding the trash and recyclables. There were no grab bars in the stone shower. There should have been a chair in the bedroom. There should be a sensor light outside when you come home in the dark. Per the notice we could have parked 4 cars, no way with that steep driveway. Parking is a little tricky. With that said everything was fine. Our stay was great. We really were only there to sleep."

"My wife, our two dogs, and I, had a lovely few days at Grey Gables. The cottage was clean, cozy, and only steps from the lake, private dock, and sitting area. Communication was excellent. We will definitely be back. "

"Overall good rental but these are 3 minor issues: 1. A railing from the parking lot to the front door would help to walk down the steps. 2. Additional bath towels and wash clothes are needed. 3. A large stone is missing from the last deck step to the dock."

"Needs smart renovation — one that gives it a sharper look without degrading historic authenticity. Back wings need metal siding stripped and brick exterior restored, “extended stay” and “hostel” rooms need to be returned to hotel use, combined with a first rate marketing program. "
