"Fabulous steam shower, high quality linens and very comfy bed. Fred likes a firm mattress and I like soft and we were both happy and slept well in the Master. Lovely assortment of coffees and teas. And one of my favorites an electric tea kettle. . Very quiet. Beautiful sun room for dining or working or relaxing. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Bathroom well supplied. We ate in most of the time and appliances. Definitely recommend!ekettle. "

"My husband and I along with our 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely mountain retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road...

"Very very clean cabin, with lots of thoughtful touches. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Hot tub that was actually hot, working cozy fire place, great deck with sunset views. Remote work space all set up in the loft. We were very pleased with our stay!"

"Harper's Ferry is the perfect in between for our Mom's getaway, and we wanted enough room in case we recruited more. The house is great, basics are provided, and we were very comfortable! We will definitely keep it in mind for future trips!!"

"Harpers Ferry is a must visit, and the Carrot Top Cottage was the perfect location to be completely immersed in the history and quaitness you'd expect to find.The hosts are 2nd to none and quick to act when situations out of their control occurred. The power outage literally set the town back into the early 19th century. We will definitely be visiting again, and would recommend to coupmes of all ages."

"The hosts are wonderful. I had a great time in their cozy, clean and beautiful place. Highly recommend for a visit to beautiful and historic WV.I particularly appreciated their fondness for dogs. Mine had a great time too!"

"The house and property were absolutely perfect for our group. Lots of privacy, the renovations are very well done. All technology is top of the line and works as expected. The pool, or in our case hot tub, was even better than we expected. It was used both nights we were there. The barn apartment is a wonderful place for some additional privacy from a large group, and is extremely comfortable. We would recommend this house 100%. "

"Our stay at this vacation home was very enjoyable! The house was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is located on a nice piece of property with a beautiful view of the Shenandoah River. The owner provided a lot of necessities like bed sheets, bath towels, soap, shampoo and even coffee supplies. The house is up to date and has a nice basement entertainment area. "My friends and I were attending a wedding in Harpers Ferry so we decided to stay close by. We picked this properly because it was dog friendly, I brought my golden retriever, which was great. The house was fine, if you’re just using it to sleep… But there were some issues that we noticed. There was definitely a bug problem, but it’s the summer and humid so there’s not much the property owner could have done, because the AC units are in the windows and not an HVAC.
