The Space:
Our fun-filled, newly-renovated cabin is bright, open with high ceilings, a fun game room, hot tub, deck with propane grill and fully stocked kitchen. Huckleberry Hill is the perfect home base for your Harpers Ferry getaway!

The cabin includes:
- Three large bedrooms (two queen beds and a bunk bed), plus two sleeper sofa chairs in the game room
- Open main room with exposed-beam ceiling
- Fully-stocked kitchen with granite counter, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave
- A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing
- Downstairs game room -- ping-pong, foosball tables and a SmartTV (tons of fun for kids and “big kids”!)
- Fast, reliable WiFi that's more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- Central AC and heat to keep you perfectly comfortable, no matter the weather

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Beyond the cabin itself, the Harpers Ferry area is great for so many reasons -- and Huckleberry Hill is just a short drive to everything. Take in Civil War history in downtown Harpers Ferry, float down the Shenandoah River, go hiking in the woods, or explore the local wineries, breweries, and fantastic restaurants our area has to offer!

Relaxing weekend in the mountains.
My family and I enjoyed our weekend at this comfortable cabin in the mountains. The six of us co-habited for a few days and there was plenty of room to move around comfortably without being on top of each other. The bedrooms are good sized and the game room kept my kids occupied for hours. The hot tub was an added bonus and it was warm and ready for use upon our arrival. The bathrooms are well stocked with all the necessary toiletries and we found all the equipment we needed in the kitchen to make delicious breakfasts and dinners. Linens and towels were provided which helped eliminate bulky items while packing. We loved being able to have our dog, Maisie, with us and we know she enjoyed the ample space to explore outside while on her walks. The owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any inquiries. This was definitely a nice place to stay at for our weekend get-away.

Great place and spacious.
We went down for work during a cold snowy spell. The house was great with heat and keeping up with the demand. The hosts were in contact to make sure everything went well. Please keep in mind if you go during snow you may need a 4 wheel drive to get in and out. But don’t see a problem with them in normal weather. Would stay at this house again. Peaceful.

Lovely quiet cabin
Very nice and comfortable inside, and lots of trees and space outside. Did feel a little suburban as could only walk along the gravel road past other houses.

4-day visit
I agree with another review that suggests a truck/SUV for this location due to the steeper gravel road and driveway. The house was very clean on the inside and had what we needed. Tony texted/responded quickly to check on us (though we didn’t need multiple reminders that check out was at 10 a.m. as we always leave early from places to get on the road). The home was very quiet and private. It had a nice game room and hot tub plus 2 bedrooms we didn’t utilize. We enjoyed our visit…close to our daughter in Maryland but not too close:) Thank you for the use of the home.

Cabin in the woods near Harper's Ferry
Wow, this property exceeded our expectations in all regards! The location was great for our visit to Harper's Ferry, just 15 minutes away. When we arrived, the cabin was perfectly clean and ready to go - including the hot tub with jets already on. Tony checked in during our stay and provided some great recommendations for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property in a great location. It was a bit out of the way but the house was great when we got there. It was clean and well furnished. The property manager was very helpful with anything we needed. I will definitely be back!

Great cabin… if you can get there!
Comfy, spacious, and clean hideaway in the woods. We had a great stay but a warning to all future passengers en route - the unpaved access roads should really only be for 4WD or SUV/trucks. We were in a Toyota Corolla and got stuck twice going up very gravely dirt road full of potholes. Damage to your vehicle is possible if you have a small car. Otherwise our one night stay was great!

Secluded, well appointed, and minutes from the river
If you like a little upscale in your cabin stays, this is it. The cabin is well stocked and spotless. There are houses nearby, but you can barely see them, and the area is super quiet, just what you want in a getaway. It's also only minutes from the public access to the Shenandoah River. Definitely would stay again.

Great Getaway with Friends
My wife and I got away with another couple. We had a blast going to Harpers Ferry and checking out VA wine country. The VRBO was just as described and the service was friendly. We accidentally left some clothes behind and the owner let us know and made arrangements for us to pick them up later. This spot was great.

Not as described
Communication and check in with host was fast and easy. However, upon checking in the master bedroom smelled like urine. When I reached out to the host he apologized but no resolution to the issue was presented. He offered a 5% discount on the rental. I booked this house for my wife and her family to get away for her Birthday. Ended up sleeping in bunk beds. This property is also listed as Harpers Ferry on the title but is actually a 25 minute drive to downtown. Overall disappointed with this rental.

In Love with The Purple Chairs
Our group consisted of 2 couples that have been life long friends meeting for one night of friendship and fellowship. We chose the cabin in leu of staying in a hotel and going out to dinner. The cabin was perfect for us. Super clean, lovely decor, big TV, deck with working grill, and fully functioning kitchen. Great location to meet half way between Charlottesville, VA and Hagerstown, MD. Owner was outstanding in his communication of house rules and check in. We cooked a wonderful dinner of grilled shrimp and steaks and enjoyed sitting around the main dining table and catching up. My only regret is that we could not stay longer and enjoy the game room in the basement. Thank you for making your cabin available and pet friendly so we did not have to board our little Corgi Jules for just one night.

The property is spacious, well maintained. We will be going back as soon as we can. My number one recommendation is for future renters to get food prior to their stay! The property is far from the restaurants that deliver food, and options are limited !

Nice getaway
We decided we wanted to get out of our house for remote school and work for a week and this house was perfect. The WiFi was strong and there were lots of breaks for ping pong. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and we were able to get a good meal delivered one night. The house was clean and nicely decorated. It was a perfect escape from the city.

This is a great property. The grandkids loved the entertainment room and spent most of their time there. FYI, if it was snowing you would need all-wheel or 4 wheel drive.

Secluded, connected and comfortable...
I enjoyed my stay. I was looking for a comfortable place where I could work during the day and take walks w/my dogs. This fitted the bill perfectly. The Internet was more than sufficient to allow me to work during the day and stream movies at night without a problem. I would return.

This is well described and very nice. The managers are extremely responsive. It may be best to arrive in daylight considering the unpaved windy road through the woods to get to the cabin.

Great Harpers Ferry cabin!
We had a great stay in this cabin. Well-located for all of the activities we wanted to do in the area. It is nestled in the woods with pretty views. The dining/living area were a highlight of the space. Communication with Tony was excellent!
