"Super Friendly and accomodating staff. They took time to guide us in finding great dinning and other hidden gems. The historic charm of the properties and our room were something really unique and charming. We will definitely stay again when we return to Newport."

"If you stay here, you are literally at the center of downtown. Clean rooms, friendly staff. You need to check in at 1661 down the road and they will store your bags on arrival/departure day. This is my second time staying here and I would again in the opportunity presented itself. You can’t go wrong at Hendrickson house! "

"We had such a lovely stay here. They had upgraded rooms available, and upgraded us without even asking. Wilber helped us out in many ways, sharing great information about dining options and things to do. He was extra accommodating which made our stay fantastic. I would definitely stay here again, especially during the off season! It was a nice, quiet getaway. "

"We all love property , wish family room / sitting area has better lay down arrangement for family to enjoy together . Didn’t like high table chair / bar set up . Main floor set up was more for youngsters . Overall was great"

"This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B."

"A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location."

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
