"This place was better than anticipated.Everything looked as it seemed on the listing.However the kitchen was a lot nicer in person. The kitchenware was really nice. We really didn’t need to bring anything other than food. The location is almost walking distance to knobs knob and Boyne highlands.. all bathrooms had very hot water and plush towels along with shampoo,conditioner and body wash. They provide you with wood to use for the fireplace. The sauna easily sits 6 people.there are so paint...

"Comfortable and clean cabin in an excellent location! My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we loved the cabin. The property is beautiful and the cabin itself was immaculate and very comfortable for the 2 of us. The location is also a great jumping off point to explore different areas. It’s a less than 10 minutes to harbor springs and an easy drive to both Petoskey and Wilderness state parks. Also close to the tunnel of trees scenic drive which is beyond...

"Spirit Lake Retreat is upscale and very cozy. It’s located in a remote area in Cross Village and offers a “glamping” feeling. I rented three studio’s and they were identical in furnishings etc. However, only two had air conditioning units. It is in a remote location so the internet is spotty but it’s so beautiful in Cross Village. We had a great time at Legs Inn and Sturgeon Bay Dunes! It’s a quiet peaceful retreat!"

"Spirit Lake will become our yearly spot to stay for our annual Up North family vacation! The property is modern, extremely clean and the perfect location to all the great Up North offerings like Mackinac Island, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, the Tunnel of Trees and the famous Legs Inn is in walking distance. "We rented this home for my sister's bachelorette party and it was the perfect home for our group. The hostess communicated the day before and the day of and was super sweet. The house itself is SO cozy and cute. The beds were the comfiest beds in any rental I have ever stayed in. She also has a lot of great books throughout the house and a ton of awesome games. The location is perfect and close enough to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you want a cozy weekend...

"We enjoyed the yard, fire pit, & cornhole game. The sliding barn door to the bathroom was loud & impractical. It did not provide a soundproof barrier to separate the bathroom from living room! The AC unit in the living room did not really cool the bedroom."

"We were one of the first groups to stay at this new house, and it truly blew all of us away! The setting is absolutely beautiuful and the cabin was unlike anything we had rented before. Everybody loved the feel of the place, from the open living area to playing games in the recreation room downstairs. The beach was close, and it was the perfect home base for our trip. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would love to come here again."
