"Loved having bathrooms for every bedroom. We had six to eight people in the house at any time and we were never cramped. Lots of space to hide away and read a book. I was surprised to find chairs for the beach which I must have missed when I looked earlier. Great time watching the sunrise. We would love to return one day!"

"Hovey House was GREAT. My family had not had a vacation in years and this week was perfect. We caught fish, kids done the educational tour of the Wright's Brothers Memorial and enjoyed the local go-carts. Host was very involved and professional. Will stay there again."

"We had an amazing stay - the property was beautiful, clean, organized, well laid out. Everything was accurately described and even better. Only thing I would recommend is that the decks be refinished. The house was huge though and beautiful and the neighborhood was incredible! Would definitely rent again!"

"Carolina Shores people were wonderful even when we had a problem. Checking was easy check out was easy. Cleaning service could have done a much better job. House was not clean upon arrival. Floors were dirty. Furniture had crumbs and dirt. Countertops were filthy. Sheets smelled terrible where I had to strip the beds and wash all the sheets again. House needs major updates. "This was an excellent find for a relaxed, one week getaway to the OBX for me and my medium-sized dog. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the sound so we had wonderful sunset walks along a multi-use path. It was very convenient to go to Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head Woods, or the Wright Brothers Memorial for a few hours of adventure with the dog and then come back for a little downtime at the beach. "We are actually owners at this time share, but we were in a different unit not ours. As always we loved our stay at Sea Scape. As owners we notice a few things that needed attention, but staff are always helpful & friendly. As it is the off season & we were only there for the weekend it was very quiet & not at all crowded. This is an older property but it doesn't feel that way & they are constantly making little updates & changes where they can to keep it up to date. Definitely recommend it...

"We checked in on Thursday, September 26; called that night to report 2 tvs not working (and it wasn't wifi), texted about the tvs again on the 27th...never heard from anyone about the tvs. One toilet would not flush, someone finally came about 13 hours before check out. There were ants in the kitchen all around the stove and the glass top on the stove was cracked. We killed 3 spiders (2 WERE IN 2 DIFFERENT BEDS!!). Overall, the house was just not clean; it seems it has been neglected for several...
