"I nice quiet accommodation. Large spacious rooms. The breakfast looked amazing but we didn’t eat any. Service is only from 8:30-10 even on weekends. No staff on site for the most part… but they were a quick text away. We would definitely stay again. "

"My friends and I had a great stay. The property was located within good proximity to Halifax Peggy's Cove and other sites we wanted to visit while being quiet away from business. The hosts were always quick to reply to any questions and requests even quickly setting up the outdoor hot tub. Thank you"

"This was exactly as advertised. It's a basement suite in a new house with private entrance. Clean, private, quiet neighbourhood. We only needed to stay one night as we're on our way to see relatives, but could see staying a few days if I was going to explore the area. No cooking option, but there's a fridge and, if memory serves correctly, a small microwave. They supply coffee (keuig) but no creamer. There is WiFi. The bedroom was a little small, one bed... not sure if it was a double or a...

"Playground & Mini Putt were shabby. Campground was just fair. Dome was good, but had a hassle with getting electric on, fire alarm kept going off, shower had black mold in it, 2 towels provided for 2 ppl over 2 days. No recycling bins in dome. Had to keep swapping propane tank between heater & dome heater. Ideally, should be one tank for each. Fridge was not plugged in and took a day to get cold. Dome was overall wonderful, as was the view, but there is no sound proof and you can hear everything...

"Loved it! Homely, eccentric, a stunning conversion. We had a great time in this gorgeous space and it was the perfect family base from which to explore and a ‘home’ to return to. My son and I loved hearing an approaching train and sprinting down to the crossing to see them pass. 😆 Jim is delightfully passionate about his place and rightly so, look forward to coming back!"

"Every year my hubby and I go away for our anniversary and this year we chose this beautiful, quiet cottage near a lake that we had all to ourselves. This was the first time in 31 yrs we could actually swim in a body of water on our anniversary and so glad it was there. "The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend."

"We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation!"
