"Let's start with the good. Convenient location for our son's wedding at Evergreen Farms, lots of space and parking, modern kitchen, working internet and modern TVs (that even allowed streaming from our phones). Easy interactions with both the manager and the owner. Now the not-so-good. First, the owner was supposed to meet us at check-in, but never showed up. We were given the lockbox code so we were able to get in without a problem, but no tour. The odd decor hits you immediately upon entry....

"We like this place a lot. House was clean and Todd was very responsive to my questions. There are two bedrooms with one on the second floor. One thing we didn’t realize was, to get to the second floor there is a spiral staircase. "

"Property is ideally located for the casinos. A little bit further then advertised but still an easy drive to both. Communication with Joe was easy and the house was exactly what we expected. There was 8 of us and it catered to all of our needs. 3 bathrooms was a huge plus with that many people. Overall quite happy with our stay"

"Beautifully appointed home on a beautiful lake in Woodstock, CT. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting nearby orchards and hiking the many scenic trails nearby. Many great restaurants in the area as well. Although we did not partake, there is a great rail trail nearby for hiking, walking, etc. The home listing is very accurate, the kitchen is well equipped, and the cleanliness of the home is top notch. "We rented the cottage property because it was close to family. Both the kitchen and bathroom has been update- we did not do any cooking during our stay so can’t comment on that area. But we really appreciate the instant hot water in the bathroom. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which was comfy with lots of closet space and room. "

"Stayed here once before and loved it. We came back for an overnight get away and again the treehouse was awesome. Very cozy and a unique getaway. Very clean and had anything we needed right there. Set on a nice farm and close to some really good food. Great place to come and enjoy an awesome cabin up in the trees. Was a comfy and fun stay. Would highly recommend. Host was very helpful and quick to respond if needed. "

"What a gem this cute house was on the lake! The owners didn’t skip a beat with the attention to detail. It had everything and was so clean. Communication was spot on. We will definitely book again the next time we come to CT! We already miss waking up with coffee and watching the sun come up over the lake. "

"My visit to Killingly Barnyard Studio was in one word, AMAZING!! It is so peaceful, quiet, friendly animals, wonderful hosts, and exactly as portrayed in their profile!! Pristine clean, new kitchen and bathroom, 3-sided wrap-around deck that faces only forest, corrals, horses and deer. There are great places to walk, with the sound of falling water and river to soothe your spirit. I would return in a second, any time! My Best Ever get-away experience!!!"
