Lou's Loft is a newly available, quaint upstairs apartment located in the small community of Hampton, TN surrounded by the Unaka Mountains and directly off Highway 321. Laurel Fork Falls is only 0.5 miles down the road and beautiful Watauga Lake and the Cherokee National Forest 5 miles away. Relax in our loft which features two bedrooms, one bathroom, dine-in kitchen, washer/dryer, large living room and deck. TV and WIFI included. Come and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains.

Cozy and Clean!!!

Property was well kept, smelled fresh and clean for our 4 day stay and well stocked!!! Host was very kind and answered any questions I had in a timely manner!!! My Daughter and Wife also had a great time!!! We look forward to staying again whenever we are going to stay in around that area again:)

The loft had all the comforts of home. It was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. The town of Hampton is small and not much there. However, there is a great little restaurant at the end of the street, Appalacian Coffee Cupboard. They have tasty homemade muffins and interesting sandwiches. I would definitely stay there again.

Weekend Getaway

We visit a couple of times a year to visit my husbands family, it was our first time not staying in a hotel and we had the best time. The apartment is well furnished, we didnā€™t cook with it just being the two of us, but if we needed to it was well stocked which is good to know for when we do come back with our kids. The road noise didnā€™t bother us because of the white noise machine, we will be back.

The perfect spot for our trip

Lou's Loft was situated perfectly for our trip to the area. We were very comfortable during our stay, and lacked for nothing. There is road noise, but the hosts provided a white noise machine in the front room to help with that. If you're looking for a place that is close enough to everything, without being in the middle of it all, Lou's Loft is a fantastic option. We would stay here again without hesitation!

This was our second stay. We come up from Ga for the Bristol Sept. races every year. Straight shot from Hampton to the track. Quiet, safe, nicely decorated with everything we needed. We will be back if able.

Description of property location a little misleading

My husband and I was in the area to attend ThunderValley Drag racing in Bristol for the weekend. We picked the location because in the listing it stated it was on a river and my husband wanted to be able to wake up and see the river. There was no river insight. We drove it the way the entire time.

Difficulty locating / musty odor

Had difficulty locating after arriving late at night. Went to location provided with GPS. Walked around the building and was confronted by a man apparently hanging out behind the building which startled us to say the least. Decided to go find another room to rent for the night so ended up having to drive into Kingsport. Nevertheless, went back the next day to try to find. Wasnā€™t well marked. Ended up paying for two rentals for the night which cost us well over $500 total for the night. Otherwise, the place after it was located appeared clean but it had a strong musty odor to it. Unfortunately we will not go back. Sorryā€¦ just being honest.

Loved the location for hiking on Roan Mountain and around Watauga Lake. Place has a ton of character and is the cleanest rental Iā€™ve ever stayed in. Great little porch. Pictures donā€™t do it justice.
