This 1 bedroom and 1 bath executive suite offers a personalized office/desk space, personalized hot tub, fire pit a barbecue and much more! You also have your own kitchenette and dining area for a nice and cozy dinner while watching Netflix or show of your choice. Great place to stay!

Beautiful and safe area not far from Halifax itself. Hottub was a major bonus! The host was amazing and always checked in to see if we needed anything.

Not quite the same..

We thought it did not represent wht it said, no welcome kit.. flight came in at 2:00 in morning, no water, 4 coffee pods, one teabag for 3 days, sugar container empty with crap in it, grass looked long, was cut when we left for breakfast the next day, fire pit had cigarette butts, beer can outside of it, pillows dirty with stains and only one each, housecoats left for hot tub, old, ripped, old stain on it.. when it said kitchen, they should say kitchenette, no oven but a portable stovetop one and a half roll of toilet paper for 3 days, I donā€™t except brand new but if itā€™s stained, and old!!! Oh and the dog, we came back to rest one afternoon and they must have been out, the dog barked for hours, and woke us up in the morningā€¦

Adequate, not an Executive Oasis

Greater attention to detail needed to bring it up to the executive oasis level. 1. Fix the door! Cracked door, difficult to lock deadbolt, security issue. Light by door burned out, path needs proper walkway.2. Dirt in footwell of hot tub and water not as clear as it should be even though the host said it was chemically balanced. Needs new filter and/or drain and refill. We have owned hot tubs so know what to do.3. Hot tub cover waterlogged, heavy to lift, needs replacing. Lifter not properly installed, difficult to use.4. Cob webs in corners and on the ceiling. Marks on the walls. Shower doors dirty at the bottom. I found crumbs, popcorn and dirt under the couch cushions. 5. Kitchen area needs a power bar on the wall to plug in the microwave. New toaster and kettle required. Organize bins and clean under sink. Paint, repair cupboard. Cracked plastic glasses, host brought different ones. No dish cloth.6. Need new bath towels, hand towels and face cloths. Towels smelled musty, one towel had a hole.7. Replace loose transition strip in the bedroom doorway. It does not fit. Clean marks on walls in this room. Also, it looks like it needs another coat of paint to properly cover.8. Sound transfer from upstairs. If we could hear them, I am sure they could hear us. The door between the rental unit and the hostsā€™ space is a pocket door may also allow sounds to travel.9. Started getting ants inside on the last days of our stay.More detailed feedback for host available.

My hosts Julien and Juliana were amazing and so quick to respond to any inquiries or concerns. Iā€™m not a hot tub owner, and had questions about running the hot tub, I was in that hot tub every night, it was almost magical, rolling hills and deer visiting the the backyard nightly! As I said, my hosts are awesome and the suite is just a perfect place to relax. Will definitely book again with these awesome hosts!

Amazing property, but needs maintenance

We very much enjoyed our stay on the property, very nicely decorated, cozy even in March, close to town and to tourist locations nearby, and the hot tub was very luxurious. Aside from the path not being very well lit/maintained, and the place needing a once-over cleaning (dusty dishes, spare items of clothing), our main problem with our stay was that the front door lock is partially broken and does not close properly. The owner stated that he is working to get it fixed and could come help with the lock if needed, but it was a lot of hassle to get locked properly and didn't leave us feeling the most confident with our things there. We would recommend the property for your stay in Halifax, but only after ensuring the owner fixes the front door. The Owner himself was incredibly kind and helpful and we expect the door to be fixed very soon.

A wonderful getaway for New Years!

We loved spending our New Years together here at this property. Everything was very nice, especially the hot tub. Great place to relax, and it wasn't a far drive from stores and such. The only complaint we had was the bed was a touch too hard (for her anyways) but this was easily remedied by just folding up some blankets to use as cushions. Recommended to bring some kind of mattress topper if you prefer a softer bed. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our hosts! Thanks again, Julien and Juliana!P.S. their dog Marty is a cutie

Il faut savoir que lā€™appartement est Ć  une dizaine de kilomĆØtres du centre ville et quā€™il y a assez de trafic. Lā€™appartement est confortable, le lit aussi. Lā€™Ć©quipement pour faire Ć  manger est minimal. Lā€™hĆ“te rĆ©pond rapidement Ć  nos messages lorsque requis et est trĆØs gentil. Lā€™extĆ©rieur manque un peu dā€™entretien, le bbq ne donnait pas envie dā€™ĆŖtre utilisĆ© et de toute faƧon je nā€™ai pas Ć©tĆ© capable de lā€™allumer. Somme toute je recommande lā€™appartement, car pour le prix on peut dire que cā€™est trĆØs bien,mais sans trop dā€™attentes pour la cuisine.

It wasn't up to the standards of clean for me I kept smelling Dog and there was dogs upstairs barking. The hot tub look like it wasn't shocked there was no face cloths The yard around the property was not maintenanced the barbecue was dirty. This wasn't my favorite stay

Overall, this property was fine, however we would not stay here again. We were not able to lock the door when leaving. We tried many many times and it was obvious the lock was broken. We had to pack our items when we left to ensure nothing was taken. The hosts were responsive when we contacted them regarding the lock, however, no solution was provided. We had to carry our suitcases down a mulch trail around the house as it was not paved. There were 4 towels and robes provided, however, one of the towels had holes and bleach stains. The bedsheets had stains from use.

smell made it impossible to stay

first thing we noticed was the smell. After 45 minutes with the door and windows open on a windy day the smell did not dissipate. I'm guessing the owners know they don't have to refund you your money if you don't stay because of a cleanliness issue. The second thing we had to do was clean the fridge. Then we pulled out the toaster to have a snack. it was a toaster oven in the cabinet which hasn't been cleaned in forever. We asked for a new toaster and we were told to clean the toaster oven and use it. How anyone stayed there is beyond me the smell was so bad. The picture of the hot tub water being so clear must have been taken a long time ago because there's so much chlorine in it the water is so foggy you can barely see the bottom. We left after 45 requesting a refund which we received no reply to. Congratulations to the owners for get full price out of us knowing we had no recourse to get a refund. I wish I knew how to download photo's so I could post it here to prove how bad it was.

Great stay! Hot tub is a bonus!

Had a little get away with my husband. Easy to communicate with property management. Welcome package was delivered as promise (gave a nice little touch to the rental experience). Great location. Love love love the hot tub! Just right outside the door. Overhead coverage (so even though it was raining ā€¦ we were out in the hot tub).
