"The photos of this property do not match. On arrival the building had broken glass taped up, no direction where to find a key, no support with trying to contact for help. Car park had people being erratic. Room itself smelt of smokers. The bed was ruffled. The bottom sheet not ironed. Paint was coming off the walls in the rooms. Experienced difficulty contacting booking agent seeking check in information which we received an apology for after arrival. "We really enjoyed our stay, the little studio had all we needed, comfortable and relaxing. The location is amazing, just minutes walk to the beautiful beach and then it flows on to the amazing headland walks. Emerald Beach is a small town but has a hand full of great cafes/restaurants again just minutes walk away. The host Peter is wonderful at communicating and offering advice on things to do or anything you need, very friendly. Thanks for a wonderful stay!! "

"We agree with the previous reviewer who gave this property 3 stars. The resort itself is older but fine especially for young kids- our kids loved the pools. The accommodation is just ok- in contrast to a lot of rentals on certain sites these days, it has a jaded air about it that gives a sense that the owner doesn’t care too much… Some minor improvements would make a huge difference- eg get a shower head that doesn't keep falling off, spend $15 on a toilet seat cover, maybe get a $350 smart tv...

"I haven't stay at Nautilus for nearly 20 years. The unit was super clean and comfortable. The resort itself is a little dated and I'm a little disappointed that there is no restaurant for breakfast but overall it was comfortable, clean and quiet. We enjoyed having dinner and a wine at the seating at the beach."
